Everything in the Bible is equally valid if god did not specifically make it a rule. That leaves only about The Ten Commandments.

And just because a certain thing isn't supported or is seen as immoral according to scripture, doesn't mean there's a rule against it.

I'd never put God in a box...not intentionally anyway. I believe God is so big and vast that we couldn't begin to understand Him if we tried. God does not hate gays, athiests, or anyone who is other than Christian. God does not send someone to Hell for being gay or for committing suicide. I am not saying suicide is right, it is primarily due to years of tramatic experiences and the inbalances caused by them.

@LimenSpirit no one has to study the Bible for me. I have read enough to know that not everything sounds right, even though I want to make God #1 in my life. The last part of my comment is VERY important as most victims of tramatic crimes are moulded to be certain ways, like gay or suicidal for ex. Now why would it say in the Bible that God sends all gay people to Hell even though it is not their faults they are the way they are? Yes the Old Testament is very scary and confusing as well.

The Bible places women so low, that Eve probably had a slew of daughters, but the author(s) of Genesis didn't bother to mention it. Also, wasn't Cain a murderer? Why wasn't he executed? (Gen 9:6) After all, the penalty for masturbation was death, (Gen 38:3-10) and the penalty for looking back was death. (Gen 19:26) A perfect god should have a perfect system of rewards and penalties.

That's one way to look at Gen 19 : 26. Most people see it, more specifically, as punishment for vacillation.

I totally get what the video is trying to do, and I'm not opposed to the government staying out of people's life decisions.
