As a matter of fact, my dad is the mayor in my hometown. He's very active on social medias in debates etc. And most of the other politicians is too

it is because they fail to "engage"(i m quoting you) that they avoid social media, social media truly means engagement and what tradional media in the form of censorship is doing is exactly the kind of media in which politicians want to be. They are scared of public.

dude i vote, on 6 feb we have elections, i also read election manifesto for the party i will be voting, and it is bec of you i tend to now appretiate and value the rights i have, more importantly i ve learned to take interest in these subjects and developed a habit of reading + necessary arming myself with know how of stuff around me, so yeah thanks lockergnome

it is only bec of social media tools like fb, orkut etc India saw 2009 India Against corruption a nationwide peaceful protest that our government wants to exercise censorship internet, they failed after people reacted against it here, social media is god over here and i deeply love it for var other reasons, i thank these companies who made it possible to connect to people.
