if this was wireless.. it would be the best thing ever. I have a 32" LCD on my wall in my bedroom currently connected to a mini PC for streaming content from a NAS system/web browsing/TV. if I could get rid of that mini PC and just have a keyboard on the side table, it would just be wonderful. and somehow stream my satellite box subscription thing onto it

That on/off button is a hardware on-off to make sure you don't accidentally turn on your Eee PC by pressing the on-keyboard powerbutton.

$500-600 would get me a pretty decent Desktop or an additional $100 for the Mac Mini. All and all I believe they should at least try to bump the specs up to a 2 or 2.2 Ghz if they are asking for a price at $500-600.

I love this thing, but there's just so much to go wrong and what when food and dirt gets in between the keys, or when someone spills a drink on the side? You shouldn't have drinks by electrical equipment, but we all do it!

Ah yes, doodling would be nice. I have a tablet myself but I didn't find it that useful as I have to store it away because it is another device. And I need to bring it out when I need to use it for fast annotations and drawing circles and arrows on a print screen tutorial or something like that. I think a most people need to do that from time to time, but most do it with a mouse though.
