If you don't know anything about the story. Rent the movie "Boys Don't Cry" and then "The Brandon Teena Story". YOu can also google some information by running her name and it gives you a idea. BUT I want to correct all the people saying she was a trans........ SHE WAS NOT. She was just a girl that was in a sexual identity crisis and liked girls, dressed like a boy and acted like a boy but not many knew she was a girl.

the blood spatter on the video was where she was shot. Let me correct myself, she was shot under the chin, not the face. Then she was stabbed and shot again in the chest which is the other blood spot you see in the video.2 other people were killed as well, one of which had a small child witness the killing. Luckily the small child was too little to speak and that possibly saved him from getting killed as well. You can google John Lotter and see his info on the killing. He is very COLD man.

The story of Brandon Teena, shes a girl who wanted to look and dress like a boy. She was not a trans....whatever, she was basically a girl that wanted to appear like a boy and wanted to fall in love with a girl. Had no interest in boys. She fell in love with a girl in a different town than where she was from. She often hung out with her ex. When he and another guy found out the truth that he was Teena Brandon and was a she, him and his friend raped her and later killed her, shot her in the face.

@1984bajan4life You do your research. HE was a man. Just because he did not start anything with his transition such as surgeries or hormones does not change that fact. HE identified as male, he was a male in his mind therefore he was a transgendered male. You can even watch the documentry about his life where his closest friends and family said he wanted to transition but he didnt have the money. And he didnt want to be refered to as a female so learn some respect and use the correct pronouns.

I was born in the early 90's. and when i was a kid i thought that homosexuality was a bad thing. not because my parents taught me that, both were very accepting of every sexual orientation..they did not care. i had just not seen gays or lesbians in my life, so i was uncomfortable. but really, whats wrong with it? you cant help your desires, weather its a boy or a girl. im not saying im lesbian, but i have many gay and bisexual friends now and i accept them for who they are. everyone needs love:)

For most people they develop into the same gender, so they perceive them as a whole, but they are really 2 seperate things. For transgenders the body and brain develop into different genders.

Dopo aver visto Boys Don't Cry ricordo che mi sentivo scioccata e incredula. Alcune scene sono da farti sentire male, e ti ci senti ancora di più sapendo che il fatto è realmente accaduto.

Alla fine non ho pianto, ho semplicemente provato una sensazione di forte disgusto, pensando al fatto che al mondo esistono esseri capaci di fare una cosa tanto tremenda quanto sconfortante, a volte mi vergogno si essere parte del genere umano. Al mondo esistono davvero mostri simili. RIP, Brandon

La transessualità una condizione che esiste dalla nascita e non un cambiamento che avviene in età avanzata, semplicemente come l'omosessualità c'è chi lo capisce prima e chi lo capisce dopo.
