Many scientists have theorized that the moon is an artificial satellite that really should not be in orbit around planet Earth. This may or may not explain what is happening to the moon but seriously, something is up!!

If you are suggesting that "they" chem'd. That could be likely, but keep in mind that if you chem in the east then you would have to chem in the east everywhere. Which would mean "they" chem'd in the west that day as well. I'm kinda with you but not on this.

Yes, the moon has gotten 14% bigger then what it was, but if you factor in how far away it still is, nothing to worry about. other then that, nothing else to worry about.

I have a theory, I think that the government knows about nibiru and is keeping it from us so it doesn't cause panic, and from what i here about the planet is that if it does come close it would cause disasters all over the world in our climate, so now the government is trying to control the weather with HAARP so IF it does happen they will be able to control the climate. easy... the second shot, the moon is in a different period of its cycle. the "squished" look is caused by atmospheric optical illusion. Ive seen it often during my 31 years on earth....

I noticed the MOON WAS HUGE December 18 2011 and going down in the east and to the south at 0800 , Will county Illinois. NASA says the moon looks larger as it goes down. But, they also said it went down in a different area. I have found a few people that have noticed the moon looking HUGE and close early in the day. A friend in Kansas said he saw this months ago. And a neighbor said she saw this a few weeks ago. So? Anyone else see this?
@269dremer i saw it too, it was huge and totaly on different area than usual. it was on 30 and 31 December 2011 in Croatia and it was a horizontal half moon. Never seen it before like this.
The moon LOOKS huge when it rises and sets, but this is an illusion caused by our eyes and brains misperceiving the moon's angular diameter when it's close to the horizon.
Actually, the moon at the horizon is the same size as overhead. Our own brains trick us into seeing otherwise. Strange but true, and confirmed many times!

500 characters isn't enough space to go into any detail on the subject. The tilt of the earth has a lot to do with our PERCEPTION of the moon. As a result, we see the moon in various angles throughout the year (I've watched it my whole life) & in every picture I see the moon in it's accurate phases (shadows where they belong) & when caught at raising or setting it SEEMS tilted. The only accurate view we get is when it's as close to the center of the sky as it gets. Hope this clears it up a bit.

Ah, there it is! The egg shaped Moon... I knew I wouldn't be the only one who noticed it. It looks like it's being pulled at the bottom by some passing nearby dense object... or it could be an optical illusion due to the curvature of Earth's atmosphere or something. Something weird is happening. I don't know what it is. But there is a line of unusually events happening. This happens to be a smaller one but still a weird occurrence.

I notice the usual face we do see on the moon is not there anymore! My opinion is and this is just an opinion, not based on any data. Conjecturing. I think what is happening since early this year with the shadow cast on the moon being completely different as I have ever seen it and with our apparent changing view of how the moon is positioned might very well tie into the strange earth sounds that are being heard globally. Could the sounds be the sound the Earth makes when under enormous gravitational influence or perhaps a physical pole shift is about to occur.
Of course the moon will shift. The moon is what helps to stabilize the gravity of the planet, which is governed by the tilt and rotation and revolution of our planet. As the poles shift, so does the tilt, so does the gravity, so does the moon.

The lower the moon is, the bigger it looks simply due to it's surroundings. It's an optical illusion.
@Scamwatcher "surroundings" don't make it appear bigger -- it's the refractive-index of Earth's atmosphere that does that. That's said, as a (very) amateur astronomer I agree -- something's not right. Live outback Oz & have fantastic, uninterrupted 360 deg., view of the full half-dome of the sky & the moon looks off indeed -- apart from that odd missing chunk (never seen that b4), it's seems rotated 90 deg., counter-clock, & orange at zenith too ... I thought that was impossible!?

I saw it like that just the other night! around October 10th or so. It looked like a flat basketball and the color was off, much like in this video. I think as Neberu approaches Earth, it's gravity has affected our moon's orbit.

I have a theory, I think that the government knows about nibiru and is keeping it from us so it doesn't cause panic, and from what i here about the planet is that if it does come close it would cause disasters all over the world in our climate, so now the government is trying to control the weather with HAARP so IF it does happen they will be able to control the climate. I'm not saying i do believe this but i think its more reasonable then most the theorys i have heard.

Well Done!!! I applaud you in this incredible capture, really had me glued to the video during it's entire viewing. Today is Jan. 10 2012 the last 4 days we've had a "Full Moon"! 1 major difference w/the moon is that not experiencing the effects of the saturation of positive ions which is cause of atypical behaviors, is that I'm not enduring near full body agony. I noticed the MOON WAS HUGE December 18 2011 and going down in the east and to the south at 0800 , Will county Illinois. NASA says the moon looks larger as it goes down. But, they also said it went down in a different area. I have found a few people that have noticed the moon looking HUGE and close early in the day. A friend in Kansas said he saw this months ago. And a neighbor said she saw this a few weeks ago. So? Anyone else see this?

@269dremer i saw it too, it was huge and totaly on different area than usual. it was on 30 and 31 December 2011 in Croatia and it was a horizontal half moon. Never seen it before like this.

The moon LOOKS huge when it rises and sets, but this is an illusion caused by our eyes and brains misperceiving the moon's angular diameter when it's close to the horizon.
Actually, the moon at the horizon is the same size as overhead. Our own brains trick us into seeing otherwise. Strange but true, and confirmed many times!

500 characters isn't enough space to go into any detail on the subject. The tilt of the earth has a lot to do with our PERCEPTION of the moon. As a result, we see the moon in various angles throughout the year (I've watched it my whole life) & in every picture I see the moon in it's accurate phases (shadows where they belong) & when caught at raising or setting it SEEMS tilted. The only accurate view we get is when it's as close to the center of the sky as it gets. Hope this clears it up a bit.

Moon low on horizon = atmospheric magnification anomaly.

you are 100% right. I was on here searching b/c I took pics of the moon, the blood moon to be exact. It looks like there's 4 moons, each one slightly over lapping the other. Some of the pics were just strings of light, and others the moon looked squished like the ones in your video. Something isn't right. LOOK UP, Jesus is coming.

To what extent would HAARP affect earthquakes and magnetic fields of the earth. Tesla claimed in 1912, he could split the earth in half with his technique. And it is now well in the test phase. Ah, there it is! The egg shaped Moon... I knew I wouldn't be the only one who noticed it. It looks like it's being pulled at the bottom by some passing nearby dense object... or it could be an optical illusion due to the curvature of Earth's atmosphere or something. But I noticed it looked strange in the night sky a while back. To me, the Moon looks back to normal tonight. Some believe the Moon has recently been replaced with a hologram, that it was destroyed somehow... and no one noticed. :0/

I notice the usual face we do see on the moon is not there anymore! I look at the moon all the time because i love watching it go through the phases and i've noticed when i see the moon i get a very horrified feeling, it looks quite scary now. Just a few days ago i saw the moon in the shape of a bowl while it is suppose to look like the capital letter 'D'. I wanted to take a picture of it but i am traveling for the holidays and finish my school, i plan to carry a camera with me from now on tho.

Where I live they spray the sky every day I've watched literally hundreds of planes spray trails that seemingly cover the dam sky almost all day and night....the time is close and I can feel it. I was out one night and I stole a glance at the moon and my heart stopped me dead in my tracks, it looks abnormal as if I had never seen it before. My opinion is and this is just an opinion, not based on any data. Conjecturing. I think what is happening since early this year with the shadow cast on the moon being completely different as I have ever seen it and with our apparent changing view of how the moon is positioned might very well tie into the strange earth sounds that are being heard globally. Could the sounds be the sound the Earth makes when under enormous gravitational influence or perhaps a physical pole shift is about to occur.

Of course the moon will shift. The moon is what helps to stabilize the gravity of the planet, which is governed by the tilt and rotation and revolution of our planet. As the poles shift, so does the tilt, so does the gravity, so does the moon.

As a sky watcher...I too have noticed the tilting of the moon, rotating anti-clockwise then clockwise past it's original point as we are used to seeing it. I'll have to keep an eye on it's shape...Good post keep it up bro! :)

The moon's increasing distance is something like an inch per century. The moon is one cause of our TIDES--not 'tidal waves'. (The sun influences our tides as well.)
Lunar gravity has no effect on earthquakes or weather.
Anyway, a LONG time from now, the moon's retreat will be considerable, but its gravity would thus have LESS effect on tides!

Looking at the vid you can see how the sun would be hitting off it to cause the squishing ( shadow ) / and still dark where you are because the sun hasn't hit your area hit. try and open your mind to what is happening , and that the moon is about 235 K miles from the earth..

The lower the moon is, the bigger it looks simply due to it's surroundings. It's an optical illusion.

That's said, as a (very) amateur astronomer I agree -- something's not right. Live outback Oz & have fantastic, uninterrupted 360 deg., view of the full half-dome of the sky & the moon looks off indeed -- apart from that odd missing chunk (never seen that b4), it's seems rotated 90 deg., counter-clock, & orange at zenith too ... I thought that was impossible!?

I saw it like that just the other night! around October 10th or so. It looked like a flat basketball and the color was off, much like in this video. I think as Neberu approaches Earth, it's gravity has affected our moon's orbit.
