my sound was terrible ,but i removed the two screws out of the mic cover and slide the cover out and removed the rubber bung that is over the mic,this is to for when used underwater,It now works fantastic

The sound quality is quite poor indeed. But that doesn't mind me to be honest. The wind noise that occur during skiing or biking isn't that important. So I'm planning to remove the audio from all my video's.
The ATC-2K I use is a USA version.
The poor video quality was caused by the YouTube codec by the way.
Both my friend and myself have one of these cameras, do you find yours has poor sound quality? Both of ours have por sound and his is from the USA while mine is from the UK!
Is there any way to sort out the sound quality on this Cam it is terrible, I can hardly hear anything?
