@SergiFuss They where miles better than the rest of the 80/early 90's. No parachute pants or neon colors. Just dudes in their regular cloths rocking out without putting on airs. Came across as being genuine, to me, anyways.
Trompe le Monde is the most underrated album of the Pixies. It may not be as perfect as Surfer Rosa for instance but it nevertheless contains some absolute masterpieces. This is one of them.
@duskostrasni - we'll have to agree to disagree I'm afraid. Something about it just speaks to me. I like the connotations with the alien conspiracy and it just sounds brilliant too. Don't get me wrong, Alec Eiffel and Sad Punk are both fantastic, but Roswell is my favourite on this album, closely seconded by Navaho.

Kim Deal is rocking the hell out of those mom jeans! Only she could make them cool.

Probably my favorite Pixies song even though it's off their weakest album (which is still pretty great)

I love Joey Santiago's playing! It is so simple yet so intelligent. His playing is so idiosyncratic, no sounds exactly like him.

¡Me encanta la guitarra de Joey!

Brilliant song, I love the Pixies' feel for melody. Shame the piano sections aren't present in the live version, I really liked those :(
Trompe Le Monde as a whole was my favourite Pixies album though.
