  • Kim Deal is rocking the hell out of those mom jeans! Only she could make them cool.

  • Pixies.......nice

  • They were as great as tacky-looking gotta love raw-talent, one of their most compelling song in my opinion, best

  • @SergiFuss They where miles better than the rest of the 80/early 90's. No parachute pants or neon colors. Just dudes in their regular cloths rocking out without putting on airs. Came across as being genuine, to me, anyways.

  • I mean they're just fucking amazing aren't they?

  • a real fan doesnt have any favorite song

  • Probably my favorite Pixies song even though it's off their weakest album (which is still pretty great)

  • All this talk about the best album....in my mind.....EVERY album is their best album because i love every single track that The Pixies recorded

  • What a grrreat song!!!!

  • I love Joey Santiago's playing! It is so simple yet so intelligent. His playing is so idiosyncratic, no sounds exactly like him.

  • ¡Me encanta la guitarra de Joey!

  • Brilliant song, I love the Pixies' feel for melody. Shame the piano sections aren't present in the live version, I really liked those :(

Trompe Le Monde as a whole was my favourite Pixies album though.

  • Best band in the world without even trying :)

    U2 my arse...

  • @martinismification this is exactly how i feel.. lol

  • Trompe le Monde is the most underrated album of the Pixies. It may not be as perfect as Surfer Rosa for instance but it nevertheless contains some absolute masterpieces. This is one of them.

  • makes me feel bad for the alien lol

he ended up in army crates and photographs in files

  • kim deal.

  • Such a beautiful song Francis

  • This is the greatest song ever written

  • god they fucked up the intro totally- still good song, better on the subbacultcha boot

  • when i listen all the "trompe le monde" i feel like i was listening the 90's, i think they write the 90's in some way.

  • Brilliant. Best song off Trompe Le Monde. Easily in top five of all Pixies songs.

  • @precipice66 how about the sad punk? or alec? or u-mass? definitely not in the top five. it's very good, though.

  • @duskostrasni - we'll have to agree to disagree I'm afraid. Something about it just speaks to me. I like the connotations with the alien conspiracy and it just sounds brilliant too. Don't get me wrong, Alec Eiffel and Sad Punk are both fantastic, but Roswell is my favourite on this album, closely seconded by Navaho.

  • this song and album just makes me think of Bill Hicks

  • SHITTING HELL.

  • awesome
