Friend your argument does not justify the ungodly actions of this church. I have personally phoned this church concerning this issue and they rejected the clear teaching of the Bible that condemns what they did (Rom12:1-2; Jam4:4;1 Jn 2:15-17).Shame on them & their Pastor that is leading them astray. I like this pastor...However there is a time and place for everything and I don't think this is the message he want to send out because the perception is that leadership is lacking. We are taught not to look back the old man is dead and we are a new creature that is comanded to be holy because our father is holy. This behavior is not holy on Gods holy ground. It's sad to see ppl arguing on this post. This clip is one snippet of a BEAUTIFUL celebration at this church. Thank God for a church that doesnt require hypocrisy for membership. This was a generational BRIDGING activity. It was FANTASTIC. Don't get stuck on the dancing. It was an opportunity to realize we're all the same regardless of age, favorite tune or whatever. It was awesome to hear favorite pop and then favorite gospel of each generation. offended? then don't do it at your church.

When reading the word before starting to quote one particular scripture read the whole chapter first to get an understanding.

@winningsouls4christ I can assure you that God covers this church. The concept behind this whole display is how God has delivered each generation. The secular music represents the BC (Before Christ) days in our lives. The gospel music that follows represents the AD (After Deliverance) days in our lives. People need to understand that God can use anything and anyone to deliver people. You don't have to be so stuck in tradition. That is one of many things that makes people leave the church.

Huh?? Dewey Smith is telling saints to dance to an ungodly song, instead of edifying them & equipping them for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4)?
