  • In my opinion this is the best thing Jim Carrey has done. To bad the show didn't last long.

  • the insane thing is this was considered crap during this era...............but this show is genius compared to the shows we got now a days

  • From what I heard on A&E Biography, Jim Carey hated this show. He was frustrated at being typecast as a straight man and wanted to cut loose like in his standup routines. The show looked like it would give him that opportunity, but once again he was stuck in the same role, while everyone else around him got to go nuts.

  • he was really good in that vampire movie with Cleavon Little, Love at First Bite.

  • @89mega89able its actually once bitten

  • Remember when Jim Carrey was a funny actor and not an anti-vaccine whackjob?

  • I think this even pre-dates In Living Color, where many people remember Carrey from (at first)--on that show he was billed as James Carrey, I believe. I also remember him being in Earth Girls are Easy. Don Messick (in the cast) was the voice of many cartoon characters including Boo Boo, Scooby Doo, Atom Ant, etc

  • @foxvermont This programme pre-dated "ILC" by quite a bit: it premiered in April of '84 on NBC and was on in the Thurs. 9:30 slot right after "Cheers".

  • Awwe he`s so cute haha

I saw a really rude nomination Jim got. For being one of the worst in the beginning of GENERAL ACTING CAREER, and stupidity for the tweet on Valentine`s day. Your losing some of us Jim, but the true fans would look at the bullshit from others, and focus on your caring heart, and warm emotion we get from you from either interviews or movies.

  • lol "He was a household name! like Spider-Man!" "good choice..."

  • thanx for posting this, do you have anymore episodes? id like to check em out ..

  • I learned about this show by reading Ron Jeremy's book. The ol' Hedgehog and Carrey were good friends at the begining of his comedy career.

  • Read it too :) Interesting book btw!

  • I used to watch this show on Comedy Central about 15 years ago, didn't the black guy's father want him to be a dentist, but he wanted to be a cartoonist?

  • he has a name cracker

  • well what is it?

  • yeah, cracker..his father wanted him to be either a rapper or an NBA star

  • this is cool I got this show on Tape only 4 eps but its good love jims earlier work to just wish it will come out on DVD.

  • COOL:)

  • Thanks for putting this up. Interesting to see Jim's earlier work.

  • wow, this is an historical video

  • Such memories. Props for the post!
