As someone with both American and Brazilian citizenship, I supported George W Bush in 2000 and was violently opposed to Lula in 2003. I can't imagine on which account I was more wrong! Bush turned out to be a war criminal and the worst president in American History. Lula is more than just a politician -- He is a national Hero!
