Well I am from Islamabad and I visited the city before this drama. People of Pakistan are fedup with these extremists. There is a wahabi/Deobandi influence in part of media that tried to glorify these terrorists. In general 90% of Pakistanies are very moderate and tolerant Muslims. Pakistan elected 95%+ moderates in each election. These extremists can never win more that 2% votes in election. This is the reason they want to take the nation hostage using arms.

Well I am from Islamabad and I visited the city before this drama. People of Pakistan are fedup with these extremists. There is a wahabi/Deobandi influence in part of media that tried to glorify these terrorists. In general 90% of Pakistanies are very moderate and tolerant Muslims. Pakistan elected 95%+ moderates in each election. These extremists can never win more that 2% votes in election. This is the reason they want to take the nation hostage using arms.

Who said they didn't use the arms. They were terrorizing Islamabad ppl using arms and real fight started when they killed army officers by firing from Minarits. TV showed these events live and all know this. Lal Mulla was given ample opportunity to surrender. Majority of students left the premises through holes opened by army . Even Lal Mulla and his ugly wife managed to escape. So far no names have been released of 'innocents' by Mulla camp. This shows that no innocents were killed.

Well, this is not the first such case where an extremist religious has challenged the authority of the state. Golden temple case, Waco - Texas case, Hoy Kaaba case ...you name it. Actually , Molana Abdur Rashid Ghazi was NOT an anti-Shia person. In several of his speches , he made refernces to the Tragedy of Karbala , comparing Musharraf to Yazid(la).
I am a Shia myself , but I support Abdur Rashid Ghazi , Rehmatullah Alaihe. He was not Anti-Shia. He respected the Panjtan Pak(as).
Musharraf ordered this operation ONLY to please his Father George Bushh.

Abdur Rashid Ghazi was very fluent in English. He spoke better English than most Pakistani Punjabis.

Pakistan's Constitution says, "All existing laws shall be brought in conformity with the Injunctions of Islam as laid down in the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah, in this Part referred to as the Injunctions of Islam, and no law shall be enacted which is repugnant to such Injunctions" (Article 227- Provisions relating to the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah).
