Politics of this conflict aside for the moment I just find it amazing how easilly this war is being documented by the very people fighting it. Its all about logisitics... flat ground, equals road in, road out, helicopter in, helicopter out. There's not a whole lot of options with a outpost on a remote hill... as we've seen before, it can entrap you in you're own dugout.

No, I joined to military to make a difference in people's lives. Trust me: just as easily as I chose the path of being a military officer, I could have chosen to become a worker in the civilian sector with minimal risk to my own life. Innocent civilians are not the target, but when we are being fired upon by an enemy who intentionally dresses as civilians and fires from amongst civilian groups, you cannot blame us if an innocent is shot while protecting ourselves.
Furthermore, we are promoting democracy in the region since we as a nation realize that, just because we can lie back and not worry about our rights being violated, the people of these other nations cannot. God forbid, if our nation is ever attacked by a conventional force of great strength (such as China, Russia, North Korea, etc.), imagine what would happen if there were no Army to protect the people. I'm sure people wouldn't be so quick to downplay our Army then...

No, I joined to military to make a difference in people's lives. Trust me: just as easily as I chose the path of being a military officer, I could have chosen to become a worker in the civilian sector with minimal risk to my own life. Innocent civilians are not the target, but when we are being fired upon by an enemy who intentionally dresses as civilians and fires from amongst civilian groups, you cannot blame us if an innocent is shot while protecting ourselves.

They are used to invade and occupy other countries, while their involvement in combat is used as an excuse to strip away basic freedoms (civil rights) at home.

Roosevelt saw how Germany was already built up with their economy and military and Roosevelt didn't like that so he would do everything he could to stop it and get it and to make Hitler and them look bad. The world saw how Germany was built up in the Berlin Olympics. @1WildlandFirefighter Europeans were the ones that started killing off the Native Americans and that's where the colonist adopted such policies from. Also, Custer was a dumbshit. Everybody thinks what he did was dumb, but it's not as if Custer massacred the Native Americans (the opposite happened; again, because he was a dumbshit).

@gizmotwadlebutt for some of us we dont need a video too watch, but for the ones that do and spew politics dont know first hand if you werent over there with simpleton commanders no sleep, no fucking batteries for equipment you relied on and a guy holding a camera instead of using his rifle you wouldn't know
