  • I hate that they scrapped all of these great ships...

  • i think the cunard line tried to make there ships look like titanic olympic and britannic

  • Scrapping a Ocean Liner is like destroying a piece of history. Leave Ocean Liners & History ALONE!!!

  • Aqutiania. The Ship Beautiful. If she was so beautiful, Why did you one save her? Aquitania would have be a great museum in Liverpool.

  • This is a good video! My favourite Liner ever, Aquitania served as a troop ship in 2 world wars, and was a reliable and comfortable ship. The last scenes show her being towed to the breakers yard to be scrapped, and reportedly her last skipper shed a few tears on the way there.

    Beautiful!

  • one of my relitives was on the britanic.

  • maybe because its just an improvement of

    lusitania and mauretania

  • my nana and papa were on the aquatania and the muratania and now my nana is 91 :D

  • If the Aquitania sank..why is it not as famous as the Titanic?!

  • @Blazerbun It did not sink

  • my great granddad travelled on this ship to NY. Now i feel the past so near and imagine his great adventure. Im proud of him.

  • very nice ship

  • Ah Aquitania.....(sighs)...So beautiful.:) A lovely tribute to a lovely lady^^

  • this ship was a few meters longer than titanic

  • Probably the most beautiful ship after Titanic's very short life. I feel sorry all of them are no longer here and still oporational... (and I probably spelt that wrong but you get the chiz)

  • the sister ship of Titanic ?

  • @1mezzomix No, the sister ships were the White Star Line Olympic and Brittanic

  • @1mezzomix nee

  • copies of Olympic-class

  • @PavelKryska Jn nebyla moc hezká, ale za to jak dlouho byla na světě si zaslouží trochu úcty. ;)

  • @lo20s uctu možna ale okopirovat nejhezčí třidu to mne trošku štve

  • @lo20s is the 1st pic your drawing cause it looks great

  • @lo20s u mne jako zastance wsl ne e promiň

  • @lo20s, do you know if the Aquitania sank or not?

  • @a1r6w Aquitania was never sunk. She was scrapped.

  • @lo20s when you say scrapped, what do you mean like there took it apart and used its pieces to biuld something else???

  • Why must "man" scrap his history, we'll be all the worst for it

  • @PavelKryska not really the stern is different and the have another deck system in sight of building

  • i know the song its Diem Ex Dei - Globus

  • Lusitania, Mauretania, Aqutiania. Three sisters, 3 destinies. All 3 of the Lusitania Class Liners would have been my destinations.

  • This music quite fitting for the lamented Aquitania.

  • what song is this?

  • A favored ship among many in them days.

  • Aquitania was very beautiful and her name has a ring to it everytime one says it. I love it!

  • very nice video. Very well done.

  • I know someone who has the original glass slides of her being built...they are gorgeous.

  • Errie this music. I wish Aquitania was still with us. I don't like the fact that she's gone forever.

  • Aquitania was the most beatiful Ocean Liner afloat. Design to compete with Olympic & is the sister to Lusitania & Mauretania. Aquitania was very popular during the 20s & 30s & serve in both World Wars. She was & still is the last 4 stacker. There wasn't a 4 stacker since

  • RMS Aquitania is the biggest ship built for the increase of immigrants in late 1920`s cent..its ready for scrapping w/n 40yrs of service...

  • i love the aquitana because its the start of all steamship..great voyage

  • l love Aquitania, she is so beautiful....

  • The music is from the Globus.

  • this was a beautiful video, the Aquitania is one of the many forgotten beauties of the past. what's the name of the song? it's really inspiring! :)

  • This is a wonderful Cip...ghosts of the past..did you see the movie 1900, La leggenda del pianista sull'oceano

  • My old Dad served as a stoker aboard the Aquitania,on the voyage to take the Australian & New Zealand "war brides" home, he said it was an exhausting trip!
