This is a good video! My favourite Liner ever, Aquitania served as a troop ship in 2 world wars, and was a reliable and comfortable ship. The last scenes show her being towed to the breakers yard to be scrapped, and reportedly her last skipper shed a few tears on the way there.

Aquitania was the most beatiful Ocean Liner afloat. Design to compete with Olympic & is the sister to Lusitania & Mauretania. Aquitania was very popular during the 20s & 30s & serve in both World Wars. She was & still is the last 4 stacker. There wasn't a 4 stacker since

My old Dad served as a stoker aboard the Aquitania,on the voyage to take the Australian & New Zealand "war brides" home, he said it was an exhausting trip!
