I'm waiting to hear from my insurance company, hopefully I can have the surgery is in August...I love to watch the journey people go through. Man, you're cute. Good luck!!!!
13.5!!!!!! That is great. I had my surgery on July 20th and I cannot wait to weigh in tomorrow at my first post op appointment!!! I have a scale but I want to wait for the full week. I hoe I get results like yours!!!!
Thanks for your post. No, I had it done laparoscopically (thankfully). The aftertaste as you mention is not very good on the Isopure but I'm getting used to it and put up with it because of the protein content. The grape leaves the same feeling as the others (I've tried one or two other bottles).
Good Video, very informative. Did you have an open RNY? I've tried the Isopure, one of the berry flavors and it kind of leaves a film in my mouth. Is that the same with the grape? That's such a great source of protein but I didn't like that feeling. Congrats on your surgery!!
Great update, sounds like you are doing well. I always had a problem getting those protein shakes down, ugh. If you think things are exciting now, wait a few months, its really quite amazing. Looking forward to your next update. :)
Thanks for doing your video! I am planning to have surgery in fall. I enjoy videos for my research. You messed me up with the excruciating pain talk! Many say the pain is not too bad, thanks for the honesty. Gonna check out the isopure. Rock on dude!
Congrats on the weight loss and getting all the protein. I wanted to comment on the hungry/not hungry situation...I was the same way until about 3 to 4 weeks out. I was never hungry, but I could drink water like a fish. Love water. However, now I feel hungry sometimes, but it is nothing like before surgery. Its more like i know i should eat something. But for me i am glad because i use to eat alot just to eat. Anyway congrats and continued success!! peace and grace be with you!
Awesome. Glad to know that I'm not alone with those feelings. I hope that this feeling that I have now lasts longer than 3-4 weeks but if not, at least it sounds managable and not anywhere near where it was pre surgery. Thanks for the post. All my best, Bracken
