  • lmfao that knife cut the steak like butter

  • awesome

  • where did you learn to build a fire? lol wow

  • @SKRIBBLE4ME has closed but it was in the NW, probably different store ;)

  • I was wondering where you got that little frying pan from? it looks great for camp cooking, and that steak you cooked looked loverly, great video, well done.

  • How do u like that fire pit..? I saw one in home depot and was thinking of getting it for the backyard. Would u recommend it ?

  • What type of knife did you use? that little booger looked like it cut through that steak with no issues.

  • @LongBeachPits562 leatherman skeletool cx

  • Bought a fire pit ($10) just like yours at a garage sale last weekend. I hope my steak fajita's come out looking as yummy as yours did!

  • The Argau CampingToaster a perfect accessory for every outdoor person

  • my mouths watering

  • That steak looked fantastic!!

  • Thanks now I'm hungry lol

  • nice skelitool. good job

  • -- That settles it. When we all "Bug Out," USNERDOC will run the First Aid Tent and you're in charge of the Chuck Wagon! -- Thanks for sharing!

  • Love it . . . and of course you started the fire the correct way! That is a cool little cast iron skillet. Nice use of field expedient chop sticks. Great looking meal!

  • @USNERDOC thanks, I miss that little fire pit, I used to have a fire almost every night

  • I am very interested in how that pit lasts over a season or more of usage. good vid!

  • @usframe I loved that fire pit, but had to leave it at my last house. I will tell you it survived me running over it twice, cool little unit.

  • @usframe I have a stainless steel version of that. It's about 4 years old and going strong. I drilled a 1/4" hole in the center bottom of the bowl, and 4 more about 3" away from that hole for drainage when it rains.

  • who knew a white guy can use chop sticks (B .T. W. you werent using them properly)

  • Fat boy down.

  • lol why use a multi tool when ur hand a centimeter away from the handle lol

  • @Titleification the handle was probably hot being that close to the fire

  • Sir if eye were you I would not use metallic on a cast iron skillet. You will damage the surface of the pan and will lead to rusting. The food looks mighty tasty, Ken

  • @kenskip1 thanks, but isnt really a surface to ruin, its all iron, metal utensils are fine, when you keep them seasoned there is no rust

  • that little cast iron skillet really rock!

  • Nice job! Enjoyed the video!

  • Man!!! My mouth was watering just watching that meat cook!!! I can't say I have ever tried dandelions on my food before though, however... I might just have to give it a try. :-9

  • yeah its bad to cook on the flame. but its still ok on how you did it. im impressed by that. most people usually put some coals in the fire so they wont burn your food, or your hand xD. but very nice cooking there. 5 stars

  • u r soo sick at cookin man :D

  • looks fantasitic ! I am cooking up some dandelions I bought yesterday, your wrap w dandies look good and healthy, thanks for the tips

  • @dennismassa I just nab dandelions from my neighbors yard. Chemical treated yards will have few or no dandies but my neighbors don't treat so they're all over.

  • this is the best food you can cook in the forest on a camp fire,no matter what you cook it will be sooooooo delicious, cheers dude, good video, the only thing witch I don`t like is the meat from the store,if it was a fresh rabbit meat or etc. it will be just perfect : )

  • mmmmm.... looks tasty

  • I would love this lifestyle. Amazing!

  • Looks great

  • Looks good! I dig your home made chopsticks and your tortilla holder!! very smart idea! I have a very similar fire pit! I haven't tried cooking with it but maybe now I will give it a shot. how do the dandilions taste??

  • delicious.

  • what part of the dandy's do you use? all of it?

  • you can, I had just used ther leaves and the flower, but the easiest way I know to use them is to make pesto toss the whole thing with some olive oil, pine nuts, lemon juice, garlic, amd your set, maybe some parmesian cheese.

  • Nice home made chop sticks for flipping your flank steak

  • good video but NOT COOK ON FLAME, cook on coals. Flame will ruin your cast iron pans or pots, and it will burn your food. FYI buy a "Ov-Glove" it work great with hot pans and will not burn your hands. just no flames. Peace from a Rainier Valley Boy, Franklin High Rules. Hamm336

  • Thanks, the bigger cast iron hates rapid temp changes, but this liitle 5 dollar skillet has held up just fine. For searing meats I prefer higher temp, but thanks for the advise.

  • wow now im really hungry

  • I like em rare.... nice set up

  • looks great, im glad i just had dinner, man!
