Listen carefully The State of Hawaii along with 28 other States in the United Sates of America use electronic produced COLB. They take the information from the original Birth Certificate and they generate a document which when certified is a legal binding document.

The little BC that you received when your mommy left the hospital with your footprints on it is a souvenir birth certificate not a legal binding document.

We say that Obama hasn't spent anything on lawyers fighting birther suits because his lawyers have said that on birther suits they're working pro bono. Do you know what pro bono means? Means they're working for free.

I'm sure there's many things Obama would have lawyers for with his campaign, including compliance with 50 states' election laws, managing a multi-hundred-million dollar campaign and other issues. But is he spending vast sums of money on these? Not at all.

Did you know his sister Maya also has that same piece of paper that Obama is showing everybody? She was born in Indonesia but has a COLB from Hawaii? Maya does not have a COLB. I've looked this up, and it's parroted from one right wing site to another, but there is never any factual basis for saying so. If you have some factual evidence that she does, please let me know.

The COLB is prima facie evidence of everything on it. It states Obama was born in Honolulu, then prima facie Obama was born in Honolulu.

But all of this is a distraction from the fact that this entire video is based on what is at best a huge distortion, at worst a total lie

You clearly don't know what prima facie means. It means that it is proof unless you have some other evidence that clearly and specifically refutes what is stated there. For example, a hotel receipt showing that Obama's mother was in Kenya on the day she gave birth. But there is none, thus the birth certificate that's been released will be considered sufficient proof of a Honolulu birth in any court of law.
