Ist doch schon scheisse, den Schlo, das Schloss und die Pyramide (und die Kaiserallee) kennt doch eh jeder... kommt denn niemand über die Blumenstraße hinaus? o.Ö
noch attraktiver kann man den Karlsruher ÖPNV machen, indem man die 24 Stunden Karten des KVV so ändert, dass wenn man Sie am Samstag kauft, bis zum nächsten Werktag 3 Uhr nachts gelten. Der einzigste Verkehrsverbund der das macht ist der Verkehrsverbund Rhein Neckar. Ich wohne in Waghäusel. Das ist eine KVV/VRN-Grenze.

Yes, I love Karlsruhe too. Its a beautiful city, and the tram system might be one of the best in Germany. But don`t let yourselves be deceived: Such beautiful winter landscapes are rare. Most of winter in Karlsruhe (and big parts of the rest of Germany) nowadays rather is mild and wet :(

There are many British cities with a similar population... take Leeds, Cardiff, Leiceister, Birmingham... all without tram systems or those that do don't cover the cities! Little better than buses! These scenes of trams cruising through so many of Germany's streets puts Britain at tremendous shame for ripping up ITS ones! Blame the Tories
Well, the winters usually suck IMO. The weather is just to mild to make the city get some periods of winter with snow staying for more than a week. Most of the winter is just cold and wet and those who have enough time and can afford it will all go into the Black Forest a few miles away and ski there. Our summers are very hot and nice, though.^^
