There's this comic that's the direct sequel of the 2003 remake where the FBI comes and try to close the cold cases. Letherface still has 1 arm, but this time the whole entire family is involved, just not the few that's in the movies. Even the whole town is kind of in on the killings. This was a well written story and should be made into a film.

@xxashley4119x thts not my point about the movie. I didnt say it wasnt gross, in fact I said it was gory. Tell me this, did you understand the whole idea behind it. Another good thing about saw is that its hard to tell who the protagonist and antagonist are. Jiggsaw seems like the antagonist but it is revealed that he is trying to teach people to apreciate life, while he has a conterpart in the police force who belives that if u mess up u must die. His conterpart is the detective investgatin him

Not scary movie. This is like Saw but worse. Both of them are more gory than scary. Saw is better cuz its suspenceful, not just pple gatting owned by a chainsaw. Saw had an intrecite and interesting plotline while this was just anothe maniac with a chainsaw movie.

Uh... hate to burst your bubble there chief but... no, it isn't. The idea was conceived by Tobe Hooper the director of the original TCM. Parts of it were inspired by Ed Gein... but that's about as far as it goes. The whole "based on a true story" bit was a marketing strategy.
