Daws Butler provided voices for over half of Hanna-Barbera's "classic characters" in their early TV years...and, of course, this "special" was later spun off into "YOGI'S GANG" (1973-'74).

This was a great format, that has only been done once-thus putting ABC in the lead
durring the 1972-73 season, for superior Saturday morning entertainment! many
of these hour long movies were pilots for future TV toon shows-but among the best
of these, were "Porky Pig and Daffy Duck Meet The Groovy Ghoulies",which was a
first,teaming-up with Warner Bros. finest, and Filmation's elite! it is strange, since
the Ghoulies was still running on CBS(with Archie and Sabrina) -this was unique!
