@thds699 Well, depending on what mission G-d has given you, there are either 7 laws or 613. The Jewish people were commanded to keep 613 laws, but if you are not Jewish, you can obtain heaven with following only 7 Noahaide laws, but the main one is NOT idol worship, and that's a hard one.

I know exactly where you're coming from, everything you said is the truth. I was born a JW my father an elder, my mother a special pioneer. All I knew was JW, the rest of the world was hidden from me, eventually I got disfellowshiped at 19. Everyone I thought loved me threw me away (family & friends including my own mother and father). THere is a period called "judgement" and all your good deeds and bad deeds are brought forth, as in a courtroom, and you have representatives for each side, to decide where your merits and sins lead you. Don't think because you go to "confession" that you do not have to answer to G-d. Everything you do is written down in the "Book of LIfe" that you sign every night when you go to sleep.

The fact that we have to have death is a result of Adam eating of the tree of knowledge. @BJMr666 They released My book of bible stories for the very young not because they discovered new revelations but because they were interpeting the stories of the bible in a simpler way so that children can understand the message which is the same in every publication the witnesses put out we just don't use the "You can live for ever" in studies with new ones or in the door to door ministry we are recommended to use certain publications and that is not one of them (read the bible daily)

I studied with the JWs for 2 years. They gave up on me because their progress to indoctrinate me was for naught. All of those I knew were sweet people. But if it is not a cult, it is close. Beyond their tendency to spin Scripture, there is just something creepy about the religion. They are right about everlasting torment though. My religion is my Lord Jesus Christ. In that my comfort is complete.

I lived with my aunt for a year who was a JW and i just wanted to kill myself.... =___= i do believe majority of what the JW ppl teach is true but growing up as a JW has to be one of the hardest things ever. I remember being given You can live, when it was first given out. It was the replacement for My book of bible stories. I remember it was like a party, they made it seem as though, "New revelations had been discovered."

THere is a period called "judgement" and all your good deeds and bad deeds are brought forth, as in a courtroom, and you have representatives for each side, to decide where your merits and sins lead you. Don't think because you go to "confession" that you do not have to answer to G-d. Everything you do is written down in the "Book of LIfe" that you sign every night when you go to sleep.

The fact that we have to have death is a result of Adam eating of the tree of knowledge. I also miss the friends I had to leave behind. But after 16 months of extreme dedication I was informed that I had to start all over as they were not sure I was ready. I said goodbye.

No point in any man made organisation. Who the hell really has the arrogance to say that they are 'exclusive' to God? Once I hear that rubbish I immediately recognise that the 'group' of people who 'belong' to any organisation (JW's, Mormons, and any other so called groups) making such a bold statement is 100% incorrect. Do any one know how many lives the jehovah witnesses have damaged in this world? Some were not able to marry because you most not pick a woman outside their congregation except she vows to be a member. Do people know how my have got divorced because of the end of the world which never came, and many have had heart attack for the fair of earthquake. The jehovah witnesses are spies. For one, i followed them for 3ys but i did not baptize. They say they don't make sex with a fiancy unless after marriage, i caught one on abortion. They don't celebrate christmass, but they go out same day in groups to eat in the hotel. They say they don't like gifts, they will request whisky if you ask them their choice of drink.

@BJMr666 They released My book of bible stories for the very young not because they discovered new revelations but because they were interpeting the stories of the bible in a simpler way so that children can understand the message which is the same in every publication the witnesses put out we just don't use the "You can live for ever" in studies with new ones or in the door to door ministry we are recommended to use certain publications and that is not one of them (read the bible daily)

@MrBongo1471 haha - i don´t think so. well, my story is: i started the bible study and became a much better human being than EVER before, better wife, better daughter etc. - but: just like Jesus said, sometimes "they" (those who didn´t study the bible) begin to hate you for NOTHING. and through the years i have learned what was hard to accept for me then: when someone truly loves you - those relationships do not end with becoming a JW!! and I am happy today that these people are gone!!

I studied with the JWs for 2 years. They gave up on me because their progress to indoctrinate me was for naught. All of those I knew were sweet people. But if it is not a cult, it is close. Beyond their tendency to spin Scripture, there is just something creepy about the religion. They are right about everlasting torment though. My religion is my Lord Jesus Christ. In that my comfort is complete.

I lived with my aunt for a year who was a JW and i just wanted to kill myself.... =___= i do believe majority of what the JW ppl teach is true but growing up as a JW has to be one of the hardest things ever. Its almost as if your freedom is stripped away. Sure your parents or whatever is just trying to help you make the right choice but damn. No mistakes or your out. being a JW should be something you chose for yourself not something your parents make you do.

I remember being given You can live, when it was first given out. It was the replacement for My book of bible stories. I remember it was like a party, they made it seem as though, "New revelations had been discovered."

Currently a witness i find your video a bit amusing we do not use that book anymore in the door to door ministry in fact we barely use it at all, we don't say you can't associate with your family or that they are bad people just be carful do not let them bring you out the truth do not let them discourage you. Jesus at one time had problems with his family they basically called him crazy but he said that te congregation is his family and thats the way we want to look at it.(read the bible daily)

@6043860438 i live in a witness Household, and when i was looking into the religion a couple years ago, that was the book i was given, and im pretty sure of what i can remember they still do use it ( mainly for children)
and im not saying witness are a "cult" as the title says, and ive been to the local minastry many times, and they people there are lovely, ive never met kindar people, so please dont think im slagging it off :)
