@raymieX Regarding the font on Bill Seitzler's picture, Bill was moved from weekend anchor to weekday anchor at the point when the 1989 KAMC-TV open was recorded. I also have the 1988 KAMC open on Youtube, which displays the previous news and sports anchors at the station.
WFAA was the model for the KAMC open in the late 1980s. The station hired the same announcer and used the same music. However, the Lubbock skyline and city shots are much more simple compared to Dallas.
@chipmaymedia Close but no cigar. This is Doc Morgan, and WFAA was using John B. Wells. However Belo was using Doc as a secondary announcer for WFAA and at KOTV Tulsa, which it owned at the time, by this point.
If you look closely, Bill Seitzler's font does not match the others. (Was it changed partway through for a new anchor?)
