  • One person's feature is another person's bug.

    Special effects are for movies, not desktops. Anything that makes the computer operate more slowly reduces my productivity and makes me angry.

    Stuff like this is fine for the people who like it, but it absolutely MUST be something that can be DISABLED. If it can't be disabled then KDE won't be used, at least by me.

    I use Ubuntu 9.10 and have KDE 4.4 installed as well. KDE is not too bad and KDE 4.4 is stable as well. I do not use widgets, to me useless. What I mainly use and what Iike vs Gnome is the menu. Menu to me is more customizable versus Gnome.

  • I hope to see more of these animation stuff.

  • Nice, and it will get better with new Qt updates in January.
