Obviously she didn't NEED a Mark VI in 7th grade, with so little experience. But I could tell she was going to pour herself into her music, and it was clear that she had some talent. So the Mark VI was a show of confidence in her, and an encouragement to her to practice, practice, practice. Clearly the investment in the good equipment has paid off. Thanks for your comment.

Actually, she started in seventh grade. She had been playing for only 7 months when she played this solo.
