I have to wonder how much of this is the fault of law enforcement, and how much is caused by the Gen-X and later hippies, who tend to be much more mouthy and angsty than original hippies.
You all have a flavor of truth in what you say. The LEO's should not be there. Our Federal government has a problem with us being a self-sufficient group who doesn't need their help. We don't need them at our family gatherings which, by the way, are held on our land. The land that we paid for with our taxes and, in a few case, our lives.
On the other hand....If they are there then by all means let them do their jobs and move along and get the hell out of our church. I did hear taunting comments being directed at the officers and that, my brothers and sisters, is reactive.
I have heard the taunting on the video and also stories of past gatherings where main circle had a main road running right through the middle of it. We are getting sloppy. I think our elders need to educate our younger generation on proper etiquette.
By the way this is a team called the Incident Management Team. These are not local law enforcement officers. The local officers were very friendly and got along very well with the family.

But to think anybody still believe we live in a truthful society just read what the Foerst service claims about this! If this would have been in other times other places it would not have been rubber bullets and Tasers that would have been used. The came into Kid Village with weapons drawn, scared all the children to the point that we were forced to evacuate the children. They would not comply with our requests to cover their weapons. That's when they proceeded to fire at UNARMED CIVILIANS and Children. I was there, trust me, I know what I saw. I'm also in the US ARMY

The police on the ground are not going to debate law and policy with you...they are only there to enforce, as directed.
If you don't want them there, than it makes sense (to me) to find the person responsible for sending them. He/she is the person you debate, pressure, protest & sue.
