All the people out there who call this thing stupid should go away. First off, If you're into Hobby-Grade RC's, why are you looking at this one? Yeah, It'd be way cooler if you could buy spares for it, but it's still neat. And, WHAT hobby manufacturer that you know makes something that flies OTHER than a Plane or Helicopter? That's the beauty of something like this. It's completely original.
ive flown (hovered) one once but dident try to move it left, right, forwards or backwards... it wasent mine thats why... but some people say that you cant make it go left, right, forwards or backwards! is it true? plz reply
just got mine, i cant get it off the ground. its completely unresponsive. both are on and charged. im three feet away and pointing right at the ir receiver.
keep slamming the throttle back and forth pointing at it for a couple minuets while turning on & off both parts. Mine is a pain to get started too. +if you ever get the auto-pilot mode to work let me know.
thanks, ill try that. and i found out online that there is no true "autopilot mode", it just automatically steers away from obstacles. my manual says that to start "autopilot" mode, to hold down the center (fire) button for 2 seconds - i dont know if thats seperate from regular fly mode. and what do you mean turning on and off? like, picking it up, turning it on/off and the controller on/off? and does the room lighting matter for you?
Yeah i knew that about the auto-pilot, saw someones video where it did the slow spin-thing, and he still managed to crash it. Yeah turn off and on again both the control-pad and the bladestar. I dont know why but it seems to fly best near a halogen lamp.... (shrugs)
Yup.. It's a bit noisy and you're right, I don't want something more challenging for having fun in the house. If I were a hobbyist, I might go out and buy a high end expensive helicopter that would make this thing look just stupid, but that's not the point. It's meant to be a fun toy for kids.
Now we have manhacks, FUCK

Thanks for the vid. Does the Bladestar's directional flight controls respond well? I mean if you press left does it flies to the left precisely?
