  • Are you in Indiana...If so your not too far and I wouldn't mind more info!

  • @MerKWorK Yes we are. Richmond to be exact. Go to our website.

  • pretty neat, but kinda crude compared to the systema pistol manuvers i prefer. though seems very practical as well.

  • Hopefully nobody shoots their balls off doing this!

  • It is a possiblity. You have to experience the training in order to know how it really works. There are risks involved with everything, but you have to know WHY we do what we do. We are talking about survival here, not what looks good and make you feel good. We teach what works and that is it.

  • @brian47374 unfortunately, this vid provides no info to see what you are teaching that "works". I am not aware of anyone selling any information who says "I'm full of crap...none of it works...give me money".

  • Goofy tactics like this will get good people killed.

Why close the distance??? Distance favors the trained shooter...that's you!

There are times to fall away from an attacker, but there is no advantage to falling to the side.

These "instructors" read some magazine articles, watched some videos, missed the proper lessons from both, and are now scamming people with these stupid "tactics".

  • If you can run 800fps or faster, then RUN. if not, moving in is a good idea in some cases. Creating distance when you are 0-6 feet away may get you killed. Now, unless you come to our training and learn first hand why a lot of "firearms" training doesn't work, then please refrain from comments like yours. People who have had firearms training and attend our Advanced Pistol Fighting will tell you just how wrong you are.

  • If you are relying on your gun to resolve the situation, then you have been reading to many articles and watching too many videos. You are pretty bold saying the things you do because I have had 22 years of FIGHTING experience. If you TRAIN REALISTICALLY, then you should learn on your own what works and does not.

  • If this stuff is so stupid, then why do we have people taking it back and teaching it to their deparments? Why do we have people wanting to become certified instructors? Why do we have people coming back for more reality based training? Because it is great training and people KNOW IT!

  • Yes, if I were you I would ask REAL instructors to "refrain from comments" too.

You aren't the first "school" to jump on the weapons training frenzy bandwagon and try to differentiate yourself by making up new exciting techniques. I have no doubt that you have many happy customers who don't know better. Every school does.

Tell us all how falling to the side helps in any way. MOVING to the side, OR FALLING to the rear have some application. You combined both and lost the benefit of each.

  • We get people making ridiculous comments all the time. Quite honestly, I am tired of people who do not understand nor will take the time to understand what works and what does not because they have "firearms" training. There are flaws in firearms training, and if you want to put your faith in the training, so be it. We do not create something new and exciting. This is CIVILIAN COMBAT stuff. We train Law Enforcement and civilians who have been to TDI, Thunder Ranch, Tactical Response, Gun Site...

  • Those students tell us how realistic our training is compared to other schools. In fact, they are amongst those who want to teach our stuff. It is a shame when people like you make comments based upon ignorance as to what works and does not in a fight. 45 degree movement is valid and very effective under the right circumstances. It is not "the" direction to move, nor are we saying it is.

  • Moving laterally and straight back are not good ways to move in MANY confrontations and we teach you WHY in our course.

  • @fsbrianfront Actually we've been training this way for over 20 years so it is not us that is jumping on the bandwagon so to speak. Maybe you need to do some deeper research on "typical" firearms training with a handgun. I would suggest watching the video on caliber & shot placement we put up not long ago. Unless you take the class & learn WHY we are doing what we are doing you won't understand what you are seeing because you are only seing PART of the technique.

  • Does it bother you that the foundation of you're training videos are all negated by speed. A fast shooter will totally invalidate you're entire system. But, average people that you might encounter won't have that. So, basically more of a bully than a self defense instructor.

  • First of all, you are dead wrong. None of what we are doing will be slow. For TRAINING PURPOSES you have to go slow. Anyone who has a grip on reality would know this. A fast shooter, well, since a lot of people never train, I'd say my chances of coming up against that "fast shooter" are slim to none. And, people rarely die on the spot. But you should already know this-right?

  • Well... you might be onto us. ;)

  • Interesting show, some of the defenses look like there from Ninjutsu.
