ok we allways catch catfish with zote but only on a trot line over night. have caught 100's of them most of them were on zote not other baits we tried best day we had 150 hooks baited caught 50 on soap on trot lines you should try this way remember turtles gar and other fish dont eat soap but catfish do!!

I have never tried fishing with soap, but it has been in my tackle box.

I've put a lot of different things on for bait though.

When I was a lil kid, I didn't know how to fish, but loved it...so my mum would set me up...she would give me whatever she could find from the fridge...cheese, ham, whatever ahahaha lol. But in her defence...it worked pretty good, I caught fish and she taught me about the outdoors first! Yeah Mum.
