I honestly fail to see why anyone cares. My mom wears crocs because she thinks they're comfortable (and cheap at Canadian Tire), I've seen plenty of kids wearing them and many of them boys meaning fashion wasn't a primary motive. Crocs are made from a resin that forms to the feet.

Its actually quite comfortable, they dont absorb moisture, and they're light as hell.

But as running shoes, I agree, they arent very functional.

Maybe if they designed a running shoe.
