@modelmaker56 hi m8 she is still flying & is performing at two shows this weekend coming, absolutley lovely to fly and display. thank you for you comment. you can see many builds and chat on my forum. search for gary132 on google and you will find me and my forum and my other build projects.
Tiger Moths are actualy very aerobatic and can do loops and rolls with ease.and it is not unusual to see the full scale aircraft preforming these manouvers.
@garyflyer Sadly she suffered an engine cut accident friday. i will be repairing her. the repairs will be done online. look for gary132 website in google.
@jeep200000 hi m8 sorry for delay in reply. im running a 18x6 .master airscrew. i know they are not as good as some props but in the event of a nose over they dont snap. gary.
Thanks for the info Garyflyer, I ordered my Moth today, should arrive tomorrow, the Lazer 180 is more exspensive but having seen and heard your i think it'll be worth it.
Have you thought about fitting a steel cowl like some other have?
I am building a Flair Tiger Moth now. Do you know what the incidence settings are for both main wings and the stabilizer? I want to check everything with an incidence meter.
hi simon i bought it with the lazer 180 in it. and although it would be cheaper to run and would sound better on a petrol i decided not to pull it about...im very happy with the way it is. its an absolute pleasure to fly and in scale manner too...gary
That's a very nice tiger moth - you know how to fly it properly as a homage to the full size, not like some who roll and loop them which looks riduculous. I've been trying to build a flair kit, and have part built it. What four stroke are you using in it? Did you consider any of the petrol's for cleaning running + longer laster airframe! If so which one? The OS dia-star is nice but I think overpowered for this model, too heavy, and probably not worth it for the price!
selling this model anyone interested
