If you listen to him just speaking it is fairly different from Vash, Ichigo, Nero or his other characters. but he sings in a dramatically different voice from these in what I believe to be an attempt to have Eyeshine not seem like a gimmick.

As a voice actor i can say for someone who isnt one it is hard to notice the changes in his voice. I on the other hand can pick out little things with each character he does that would be alot harder for others to notice. Example Lelouch has alot more arrogence in his voice then Ichigo does but ichgo has more confidence, Rossiou has more maturity to Renton (yes he did Rentons voice and i knew that as soon as i watched Eureka 7)
