One of my all time favorite band. Poeple always tend to categorize them but they're just unique and in my opinion ( as i'm not old to say this) they were among the fews that stared it all (the whole death metal and grindcore) along with Repulsion (genoice), master/deathstrike and others. They were actually a great inspiration to awesome bands like carcass and impetigo.

@nekromantik93 Agreed. Macabre are one of the most unique and original bands around. 21 years down the line I still buy their albums. I can say that of no other band. I think a lot of people forget how long they have been going, and were even very original back then.

I saw and heard Macabre live in Barbue, Copenhagen, Denmark '94. They were just great. :)

And after about the 2 minutes between each song, their drummer had certainly had an intense time.
