@elvisbessor Drinking, smoking, none of it has anything to do with Pancratic cancer. Doctors still aren't sure what causes it. My mom died from it; my aunt died from it, and, I may die from it as well. Like Michael said, live every day to its fullest. You never know; none of us know. And it can strike at any age. Love your life, don't waste a minute. Met Michael once on location in Mt. Pinos, CA, and once on the backlot when I worked in Entertainment. He was truly beautiful.
@Castletriglav I didn't realise that. I read a report some years ago that mentioned he drank and used to hide it. I assumed that because he had trouble with his pancreas it was alcohol related. Thanks for letting me know.
This man was brave, funny. He was a kind of father, that's why i loved him in "little house"he was a kind father. But i don't know why,i just don't like her ex wife Cindy. She's special.
Wow, this brings back memories. I grew up watching him on TV. I was in high school when he passed and it was so shocking to see him go from so vibrant to being gone in only a few short months.
@supertron5000 Yeah, I totally agree, his passing has made me try and make the most of my life because no matter who you are in the world, life can be taken from you in an instant. Every day we live in this world is a blessing.
@nathansawfordtv you are so right and we shouldn't take life for granted! Every morning when I wake up I say I am grateful for all that I have and that I am grateful for the air that I breath the colors that I see everything!
@elvisobessor He sure was incredible. I especially loved Little House. He was a genius but sadly he loved to nhave a drink and that led to him getting sick and losing his life. He left his mark in this world though thats for sure and his fans will never forget him. Little house will be watched by countless generations to come.
@nathansawfordtv The guy's a childhood icon. All three of his best known shows are beloved. As they should be. I loved him as a kid and as i'm now growing up and starting to think about the rest of my life and my own eventual mortality i'm seeing him in a different light. He's still my hero but now he's more my hero for who he was and not his work so much. He is the kind of husband and father i want to be.
@nathansawfordtv Alcohol had nothing to do with it. Michael was a chain smoker since high school. The joke on the Bonanza set was that Michael smoked so much and inhaled so deeply, that even his socks smelled like smoke.
We all miss him something terrible.
He was an amazing man.
Never will be another one quite like him.
