Front 242, was and still is, the best band in the world strictly ebm.
Laibach Ljubljana is a little different situation.
When in 1988 I first heard of the Polish Radio, Young Gods, I was a fan of them: a team from Switzerland, singing in French (for many Poles, the French language is incompetent, is> not macho <;)), and it sounds great!
I hate 90% of present production of quasi-ebm (hersh, cybergoth etc).
E.b.m. This is raw, powerful music for heterosexual men, not some gay-parade.
if they are so down on England, then perhapse they should never step foot in England, nor accept money from English fans...after all...we wouldn't want F242 to be hypocrites...I love the band, and have been greatly minspired by them in my own music, but I never bad mouth other countries or bands. Love their music, dislike their politics.
Interesting little clip on Front 242 (circa the Front By Front album era in 1988).
I wish the quality were better, however, seeing that this footage was apparently transferred from VHS tape to digital format makes it an unusual gem in the documented history of Front 242.
