Personally, I interpret this from a Christian perspective, and Christians are called to be pacifists, and only risking their lives for God himself, not a country structured by humans claiming to be founded on the basis of Christian law. @Bergsmaz First, yes, this is a song dedicated to the troops. Second, yes, Mark Tremonti is a Christian. Although I wouldn't call AB a Christian band, it is a band with Christians in it.. Him and Stapp collaborated to write the Creed songs, and Tremonti himself wrote the lyrics for most of the AB album "One Day Remains". In many songs you'll find that he alludes to Christian beliefs. That said, it's not like they're really preaching to people. Marks beliefs just tend to show in his music
