this vid is lip synched or the person who made it lined up the adio perfectly .the adio techs oe whatever ..but that is the studio version of the song
Yeah man, CT's first record is one of the few 'perfect' albums that I know of; it's seamless, fully realized, and totally original. 'when you consider what else was going on at the time, I give Epic a lot of credit for having the vision for even signing them. It's a brilliant record but not easily categorized, and had a lot of very heavy and controversial content, so it must have been challenging to market. But thank God they did, because this record is one for the ages.
This is a lipsynced performance. I wonder why it is called Night Gallery? I think all of these Cheap Trick 1977 Night Gallery performances are actually just promo videos for the self titled album. Does anyone know if there are promos for In Color?
The first time I saw these videos was in either 1977 or 1978 on The Entertainment Page in Atlanta, GA. That was also that last time I saw these videos. The Entertainment Page was a live local 1 hour show each Mon through Fri from 5p-6p on Channel 36 which in those days was live 24/7. The host played these over and over again. I have described these to others over the years and it was a thrill to see them on the Cheap Trick youtube channel. The first album still remains my favourite!
I cannot believe how great these Night Gallery videos are. Just awesome. They cannot be from 1975 though. The first album did not come out until 1977.
I think I read a comment on another Night Gallery video Where someone commented that it was 1975. I know it is 1977 because that is the year their first album came out.
Holy crap, I was there, Night Gallery Rocked. Opened up at midnight, bands started at 2 am and played until sunup. Rick-N used to poke out ceiling tiles with his Hamer Standard and literally swing from the roof joyce(sp?). Sound was so loud you could see it. Ears still ringing. Thanks for posting. Awesome memories from CT in their prime

Wow, that must have been a precurser to USA Night Flight, one of my favorite shows of all time. Night Flight didn't start until 1981.

@shelly10538 Night Gallery was an all night series on the U.S.A. channel in the late 70s early 80s. It showed concerts, videos and cult films.
