lol like our first time performing at BOA Nationals this year the last band to be announced we didnt expect to make it that far lol "And our 33rd band to make it to semi finals is The Rockford Hichschool Marching Band." Everyone is like wait what?! all of a sudden we all scream our hearts out and the drummajors are like hugging it out while people r trying to shake hands with eachother. sung the whole show on the bus ride back to the hotel like 9 times. we even beat our state champs xD

We actually had to do this my senior year in high school with the pep song at one football game cause the band director and drum major were still helping the percussion set up when the football team ripped through the banner. The other saxes and I started it and got the entire band singing ('dun"-ing rather) the entire piece. Greatest night EVER!

this is my fifth year in marching band (color guard) and when anyone asks me what my favorite part of band is, i can honestly answer - to this day - that is drummer talk. when they all they make noises that sound EXACTLY the same and correct each other? i love it.
