Also , the story about you and your husband is reminiscent of my husband and I. We've been married 5 years, been together for 8. My husband says he's gotten closer to God because of my faith. That's just so cool, the similarities between your story and mines. I also prayed for my husband. I CLAIMED him. I actually had a prayer journal, and wrote my prayers to God at times, and I prayed for my husband. LOL.

We'll be celebrating our sixth wedding anniversary next weekend and it makes such a difference in your relationship when you have a godly person. oh also, taking prenatal vitamins does not prevent postpartum shedding. It doesn't happen to some women simply because of the "luck of the draw" most women will experience postpartum shedding because it has to do with your hormones. The fluctuation of hormones is what affectes the hair's growth cycle.
I continued to take prenatals after I had my son because I breastfed as well but around 9 months when my hormones started to normalize, down went the hair..lol

Though I'm not married my degree is in marriage + family counseling so I know that it is imperative for couples to complete the process before they get married. So many benefits, you'll learn each others ideals, relational styles, love styles, beliefs and depending on the type of counseling you endure, you'll be able to develop a tailored plan for weathering the storms of marriage
Really like everything you said in this vid, currently single and have always been just like how you were before you married not boy crazy, able to/love being alone. You know what I think many women have found their mates when they were not looking or dating. This is the problem, women STOP LOOKING. If you believe in God and you believe that God is in charge of your destiny, sit back and chill. That's basically what I'm doing right now.

me and my husband went to pre marital counseling as well and i think it was the best thing that we could have ever done. it brought to light so many things that we would go through and things that we both brought from past relationships and it was very therapeutic and beneficial to us. I thought that what we did was strange at first because i had not heard of anyone else doing. Thanks for this information

@deLISHtvxo Thanks and yes, you're right about when the postpartum shedding normally starts. Sorry you're experiencing it, but remember that it will end and often the hair typically grows back/returns to its normal shedding pattern/rate after a while. Awesome advice! Awesome everything. I, too, am saved and God is very much so a part of my marriage and life overall. My husband and I had premarital counseling with our pastor before marriage and it was awesome. I implement Christian values into everything. And it's great that you mentioned not to compromise your standards. My dad told me that when I was single: set standards, and don't settle. I'm glad to see another strong Christian woman who can also give great hair advice :-) Lol.

@HeavAngell yes a lot of married sisters ditch their single friends. I had to get all new friends when my married girlfriends stopped answering my calls. Can someone please tell me what that's about? I now try not to get too close to women. It hurt like to lose them after such a long time friendships. I guess their husbands are their best friends now. But I notice the men very rarely give up their buddies....oh, well.

Everything you related to us sounded like what worked for you and not necessarily what you think the rest of us should be doing. That's what makes this so likable. As a single woman it's very bothersome when married women put us down and tell us were always going to lonely if we don't marry a garbage man, etc...You told your story and if we have those same goals we can try to emulate those qualities if we want to. That is so funny, I too, consciously decided not to date or have a boyfriend when I met my husband. I was reconnecting with the Lord at that time and he was right on time as usual.

good video :) you're glowing, very beautiful! :) the shedding usually starts around 3 months after giving birth btw...sadly i'm starting to experience it lol my daughter will be 4 months on the 26th!

@deLISHtvxo Thanks and yes, you're right about when the postpartum shedding normally starts. Sorry you're experiencing it, but remember that it will end and often the hair typically grows back/returns to its normal shedding pattern/rate after a while. Awesome advice! Awesome everything. I, too, am saved and God is very much so a part of my marriage and life overall. My husband and I had premarital counseling with our pastor before marriage and it was awesome. I implement Christian values into everything. And it's great that you mentioned not to compromise your standards. My dad told me that when I was single: set standards, and don't settle. I'm glad to see another strong Christian woman who can also give great hair advice :-) Lol.

very informative. Its funny you mentioned about the friends and hanging out. I pretty much much put my girl friend who i thought was a friend on the back burner because she is still into wanting to date and kind of pull me into her drama of dealing with different men which is something I can no longer relate to, Being married I also noticed has given me insight on how people with sometimes try to ruin your relationship b/c they are unhappy with there lives. @HeavAngell yes a lot of married sisters ditch their single friends. I had to get all new friends when my married girlfriends stopped answering my calls. Can someone please tell me what that's about? I now try not to get too close to women. It hurt like to lose them after such a long time friendships. I guess their husbands are their best friends now. But I notice the men very rarely give up their buddies....oh, well.

My husband and I didnt live together before we were married either. We've been married for over 7 years now. I agree that you dont have to live together to "get to know" someone. God said it, I believe it and that's good enough for me.
We also went to pre marital counseling.

I liked this video! I like that you focused on your marriage in this video. Everything you related to us sounded like what worked for you and not necessarily what you think the rest of us should be doing. That's what makes this so likable. As a single woman it's very bothersome when married women put us down and tell us were always going to lonely if we don't marry a garbage man, etc...You told your story and if we have those same goals we can try to emulate those qualities if we want to.
