The crashing depends on who's fault it is. They get only one chance if its their fault but if it's enemy action or a problem with the plane, they keep flying. Not defending McCain but that is the case.

Excellent point!! Another thing is is that 90% of blacks vote Democrat anyway. Obama boosted support amongst all racial, gender, socio-economic levels, and regions. I see the most rabid and "expressive" comments coming from political conservatives who yell and scream about things like the birth certificate issue and fill posts WITH ALL CAPITALS TALKING ABOUT HOW OBAMA IS A COMMIE WHO'S RUINING OUR COUNTRY, etc., etc. I find most (not all admittedly) of the posts from "liberals" tend to be well thought out, intelligent, and less bombastic. What are their Associations with known lobbists (Haliburton, etc.)? McCain admittedly voted NINETY percent of the time with Bush (out of his own mouth). They do not have similar military histories. Bush defended the border of Texas from Oklahoma while McCain was a Vietnamese prison camp. Does that sound similar to you? Also, Bill Clinton even has a relationship with Haliburton - he even gave them a no-bod contract for Bosnia. It's not a partisan relationship.

Yes they do have very similar histories. DIFFERENT results, but similar histories... BOTH rode their parents coattails to SKATE through their military schooling (both graduated near the bottom of their classes) and BOTH got preferential treatment because of their fathers. Most Pilots only get ONE chance to crash a Multi-million dollar plane, much less 3 of them. McCain should have NEVER been given a chance to ever go into combat (4th crash?). You care to explain that?

The crashing depends on who's fault it is. They get only one chance if its their fault but if it's enemy action or a problem with the plane, they keep flying. Not defending McCain but that is the case.

I'm just stating how the military works and they are ZERO tolerance when it comes to mistakes that pilots make. Even with his connections, it's hard to imagine that if he screwed up, they would let him keep flying. And jets not working right happens a lot; especially on Navy planes that have to take off and land hard on carriers all the time. I will admit that I have not looked at his particular record however so I do not know the particulars of his case.

Not, it was and is the constant lowering of the average american's wages. The CEO's used to make 20 times as much as the average worker back in the 60's. Now they make 364 times as much. Therefore, the average worker is now much poorer than they used to be and can't afford a house at the usual interest rates. If you look back to 1929 you will see a similarity with what is happening today. Also, if this legislation was pushed through 30 years ago why is it just happening now?
