This MEGA tutorial has been the best Ableton/Dubstep/Electronic tutorial in Youtube. I'm trying Ableton and most of the times get sick of it, but now because of you guys, i understand the basic, i've been using REASON 4 for Dubstep and i want to try Ableton because i think that i can't get "professional" quality sound in Reason tracks, also i don't have much experience in mastering :P Thank you a LOT duuudes.

I just got Ableton and after watching this tutorial (having ZERO prior experience) I am making awesome tracks (and yes, I've managed to nearly mimic the intro music). Mad props to TornadoTwins. I finished the tutorial today and added the Multiband Dynamics and the Rack to my track but when I give the project to my friend the audio messes up and both the MD and the Rack disappear. I've also experienced other problems with transfering but I managed to solve them. Do you know of any safe way to transfer my project?

You have no idea how much i thank you right now. tbh, i didnt like the song that much, BUT i don't care, its not about me liking the song. It's about me learning how to use Ableton, and produce some electronic music of my genre. You have taught me well in the program, now with a couple of months/years of experience with the programs, and VST's (of my choice) ill successfully be able to achieve the music i would like to create, and be happy with it. @TheAverageKamakazi truly all you need is a gig of RAM and a decent sound card. I have the Komplete audio 6, but an M-Audio should do the trick in most cases.

Also if your going to make music, you should dedicate your computer solely to that. you'd be amazed at much space you'll need.

I sincerely enjoyed the high notes on the wobbles and I'm not a great producer ( yet (; ) but I think from the listeners perspective it really tied the piece together. I think you might be able to fine tune the notes and make it more streamline but it gives it more of an eerie feel that I think you were going for. Enough with the complaining let them do their final tutorial how they want, its not like you paid to see this. Besides the drop is the hardest part to make and not something you can explain well in detail. You need to figure out how to make your own drops and not rely fully on this video, its more of a guide to help give you ideas

@randOmazing 1. I understand it is for beginners, but it doesnt mean it has to sound bad, the problem was, they tried to change the sounds to much making it sound messy, that could have been avoided by not trying so much to 'Skrillex-ify' it.

2. In reality, it isn't great at all, it does sound bad when it drops and the basslines, but the rest sounds well.

3. I can do something as good as I produce music myself, so don't claim things that you have no evidence to back it up and just assume things.
