In India, most planners do not know one thing that is probably most important viz crowd management. Most Indians wander on the streets much like the cows: aimlessly. People cross roads at any point without any recourse to traffic signal. Most vehicles do not follow traffic signals. In nutshell, it is hell let loose.

Oh, come on. Remembering what you see in the video is only a short period of a single day, you pack that many into your local train station each day for months and then lets see how long it stays neat and orderly. Few stations in the west (as in none that I'm aware of) handle anywhere near as many passengers each and every day.

2nd class sitting, abbreviated as 2S. On the side of the trains, it says "Chair Car" sometimes but in Indian Railways, Chair Car or abbreviation CC usually refers to the air-conditioned chair car, not the type seen in this video, which is 2S.
