Then as a complete contrast you have over-modernised apartment projects such as city island that appears to be designed by children. I grew up in Liverpool and have spent a lot of time in Manchester so perhaps my standards are just too high.

Not sure if you stopped by in Holbeck on your tour but you might be interested to see the pop-up park that's appeared there amongst the victorian chimneys. The singer keeps thanking lord for his "reigns" LOL but all you see is squaller, poor housing, homeless people unable to even sell the Big Issue to survive, a black guy getting refused entry to Harvey Nicks, Muslims wearing suits(GoodLord!) and chav kids getting moved on again by your camera. Theres some nice building picks though, including I'm ghessing your house at the end with the nice flowers well away from the inner city.

I've been looking for vids for friends about Leeds and all I found were ponsy vids of posers in cafe's drinking over priced tea in VQ, or shopping at Harvey Niks and celebs saying how wonderful it is. The bones of Leeds is the people,the cultural variety,original yorkshire friendliness, the different living areas, etc.
