first 2 albums was good, because they weren't overproduced. They had raw energy and good solos.

I think if Green Day remained an Indie band and kept that raw sound for Dookie it would have been much better.

But i suppose i would not have heard of them if they didn't sign on, all things happen for a reason. And i am happy that Green Day took a chance with their music.

I've now got all the albums (Shenanigans was HELL to find) but I have to say I think all their music is equally as good, but I hate the way people try and put labels on their 'old' and 'new' stuff...
