MUUUUUUUUGGS! Great great band. Danny, one of the greatest guitars and vocals I have ever heard in Detroit. Seen 'em about 15 times and loved every show. Lager House, Magic Stick, Magik Bag and soon will see 'em together with Calexico. Great blues/rock sound and what a beautiful guitar.
It's really sad these guys got voted off, but I hope some label picked them up because these guys are sick. The mild psychedelic flavor and the blues feel they leave behind are enough to keep me well entertained. It's really awesome that the bassist is still willing to play after his stroke, where the average joe bassist would probably have called it quits
Friday night at the Detroit Winter Blast 2008 was the first time I got a chance to see them. Being 50 and growing up in my teens in the very early 70's, their sound did have a late 60's early 70's flavor. In fact they were damn right out Smoking. Loving the Blues they way I do, this band didn't disappoint. Their ROCK-N-ROLL wasn't too bad either. It's rare these days that you find a three piece band with this solid rock power. And this song was the best one. The Muggs definitely impressed me.
Those judges don't know a single thing about a true "American Band".
Those little kids shouldnt be on it either. The singer didn't even know the right names when they covered elton john, horribly might I add. He said elton john, then asked the bassist who proceeded to say Elton John and Bernie Poppin?? Are you kidding? ITS TAUPIN get it right

I'm really impressed, many props to The Muggs, this is the first time I've heard them, just randomly found them. Worth the time I spent watching it.
