You know the only thing this doesn't emulate directly is the garbage routine. If it was like the Tetris vs. DM version, it'd have the same spot open per garbage line for a specific amount of lines (15 or 20 or somewhere around there) and then choose a new spot to form lines.

Yeah, but then it's basically Tetris Tennis once you get the hole uncovered.

I personally prefer TGM's method, where the garbage you send is a mirror of the lines you cleared with the piece missing.
