  • instant bullet proff chest

  • when i got mine the paper was green ;p

  • lol i love that smile at 1:30

  • Like a bug on a winshield....

  • Shit gets serious in the office...

  • i just got mine two days ago. all my friends want one now.

  • So, THIS is where the clipboards in Fallout come from...

  • thats cool and all,but will it blend? that is the question

  • @aTopHatMan don't think these comments are that funny anymore

  • @aTopHatMan how would you fit it in a blender?

  • @Strakillias get a blender thats large enough or cut it in half

  • pffft Chuck Norris could break this with his mind.

  • @avatar162 chuck norris is fucking old cunt

  • i bought two of these and and duck taped them to myself i find that it works just as good as any police body armor.

  • But...will it withstand my .50 Barret? Put that on YouTube

  • Thank you thinkgeek. You have help me gain success in robbing a store.

  • But will it blend?

  • ghost buster

  • i have all ways wonted one

  • vat19 better than thinkgeek

  • I held one in front of my face with BOTH hands as my friend shot at it with a .22, damn thing broke my nose. I'd say it's crap don't buy it.

  • @afz902k Not sure if serious or plain stupid

  • @afz902k There is still shock behind it that doesn't get absorbed. You are a candidate for the Darwin Awards.

  • i think .45ACP is the most powerful it can stop

  • Can it stop anything between a .40 and .45? Those are really common choices for handgun owners.

  • Cave Johnson here, showing you the Aperture science bulletproof clipboard, because science is DANGEROUS! So why should us here at Aperture be any different?

  • "This is a hold up. Put you hands in the air!"

"Wait! Let me run back to the office and get my clipboard!"

  • the clipboard is nice. but why the hell would anyone in their right mind, meet a blind date at a remote location. Use your lizard brain.

  • how will a clipboard eve save your life

  • THEY USED A NAZI GUN AT 1:35 NAZI GUN!!!

  • @spelldragon101 That's a great gun design and works well. Many people use it.

  • OMG

I TOTALLY WANT A BULLET PROOF CLIPBOARD DOESN"T EVERYBODY WANT ONE?

  • notice the clip board they show him putting up isnt the one they shot. the holes from the clip disappear

  • @humanityisabstract what da hell are you talking about?

  • @humanityisabstract Very true. We actually had two. The first one we pushed the limit of what it could stand, and it failed. So, we cranked it back to what the clipboard was actually rated to and tried again. And . . . success.

  • This thing saved my life twice. Thanks guys.

  • That gun looks like a .357..., but maybe I'm not a gun enthusiast

  • @mrgeraldbrent

The rounds they loaded looked like magnum rounds to me, but I couldn't get a good enough look at it to tell for sure. I assumed .357 Magnum, but I can't know for certain. If I get enough money to waste on one of these clipboards, I know a guy with enough handguns in different calibers to see what it can and can't stop. All I have right now is an old .22LR revolver, so I can't do a proper test on my own.

  • YEAH BBBBBBUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That was more than a 9mm.

  • how much? expensive?

  • @roygbiv330 45 dollars, I checked.

  • @Zachc108 thanks.

  • if you dont show us what ammo your using your not showing if your product really works. you could be shooting some wad-cutters

  • I find it hilarious that the man with the gun has the prius.

  • hmmmm Can you actually hold with out it hurting your hands? what about the shock from the impact?

you'll probably drop it after the first hit

  • @DannyBgo its not practical. its just badass.

  • @kirielvids yeah that is true

  • I want one. But bad shots irritate the hell out of me. Resting on a table, with a single-action revolver at that distance calls for better accuracy. Grrrr

  • For legal purposes don't you think you should have some kind of disclaimer on this video?

***WARNING*** Do not try at home! DRAMATIZATION!

This clipboard is not sold as a personal protection device!

    For novelty amusement only!

    Or something like that?

I can see the headlines now, "Teenager shot while recreating youtube video using bulletproof clipboard ."

  • @PLSheffield

simply because it actually works. Its not rocket science to stop bullets, just a matter of tough as hell materials. This is small, rigid probably heavy and most likely useless in a real combat situation. But it DOES do its job. I can tell you from experience even with bullet proof vests getting shot hurts! the vests catch the bullet, and use you to disperse the energy, imagine getting hit in the chest with a baseball bat. Thats kinda what its like, but at least you're not dead.,

  • @PLSheffield If people in this world need disclaimers to not do dumb shit like this for real, then we as a human race have a problem. "Teenager with an IQ of 4 shot while recreating youtube video using bulletproof clipboard."

  • @kevinkm77 Hey, natural selection right?

  • @PLSheffield what teenager is THAT stupid? i mean yeah we are pretty stupid but who do you know who would let someone SHOOT THEM with only a clipboard for protection?

  • what bullets did you shoot at it? size, grain, velocity and foot pounds

  • IT'S A GHOSTBUSTER!!!!!!

  • wow Michael Jackson

  • You'd guys better explain that the action scene at the end did not involve anyone actually getting shot at... There are a lot of idiots on youtube.

    No offense idiots!

  • I love the gun.

  • Nice. Now, when Marcus snaps, I'll have my trusty clipboard.

  • Wow it didn't even get Cracked.

  • clipboard kata. luv it.

  • a disgruntled generals fan, what else is new

  • This looks pretty cool, but can it stop a 230 grain .45 Full Metal Jacket round, or is this only good for 9mils?

  • @neferiusnexus

.45 ACP has less penetration power than 9mm when it comes to body armor.

Velocity is key in penetrating body armor

  • Why not leave the sheet of paper clipped to the other side? If it's undamaged, that's proof that the clipboard is bulletproof.

  • Cracked.

  • I'M NOT SURE WHY ANYONE WOULD CREATE THIS BUT I NEED ONE.

  • yah ok a murderer that drives a prius....

  • Does it come with a tutorial to kung-fu clipboard style?

  • I got it as a birthday present yesterday

    it's unexpectedly heavy

  • Its Timmy from The Whitest Kids U Know :O

  • your fucked if they start shooting you with an FNfiveSeven at ten yards 5.7x28mm fullmetal jacket rounds it will go threw like butter

  • What if they shoot the hand you're holding the clipboard with?

  • I have to ask. Why?

  • why fight? they can dodge bullets in the Matrix XD

  • that chick kick major ass

  • I wonder how that thing stands up to a shotgun.. hmr..

  • @MechtaDesign It would depend on the shotshells being used, and from what distance. I'd guess that it would hold up pretty well; shot is typically all round, and (owing to a lack of rifling in the barrel and the way that the concussive force of the powder is distributed amongst the pellets) shot just isn't that energetic.

Your *real* problem would be spread. Clipboards be dang small when you're trying to deflect a 3x3 cloud of lead.

  • Must be a pretty intense office if you need a bulletproof clipboard.

  • @NeverevenStudios its chuck norrises office

  • @NeverevenStudios Ever see "Wanted'? Cubicle workers get very strange sometimes...bwahaha.

  • Wait, what caliber is that revolver? Because I've rarely seen a 9mm one, and you can't get much smaller than 9mm without hitting .22.

  • @kemosabi4 I think its a 38 or a.357

  • @kemosabi4 Well you can, the .380 auto would be smaller than 9mm.

  • Bulletproof? *grabs barrett* I think not...

  • @CheetahSpirit

i can read too "Level II body armor protects against 9mm, as well as all those calibers protected by Level I and Level IIA."

and i dont think barrett would appreciate you grabbing him lol

  • now i can do deliveries to east LA

  • Sweet, I want one.

  • I believe the proper term is bullet resistant 0:)

  • This product saved my life. i was being robbed at my work and some one pulled a gun on me then i used my bullet proof clipboard to stop the bullet then i chucked it at the bad guys head and ran. :D

  • gonna buy some of this and make a vest. then i'm gonna rob thinkgeek and if they try to stop me, they can't cause i'm bullet proof

    ........u mad?

  • now you can take notes in the hood

  • I can buy cevlar fibres and epoxy resin and our university has a nice choice of ovens.

So i'd rather make it myself than buy :P

Although i could make a bulletproof clipboard or other bulletproof stuff myself,

but i do not see any point in doing it...

  • Wouldn't you save weight using kevlar/UHMWPE? For something so portable, weight should outweight cost issues. Just sayin'.

  • 1:39 Oshawa Generals?

  • what caliber did the revolver shoot?

    impressive btw

  • Everyone should have one of these...

  • The question shouldn't be why I need one of these, but why WOULDN'T I want one of these. If it'll stop bullets, it'll definitely stop any office projectiles.

  • @songstolivesite Office projectiles? Hate to see how much your officemates hate you if you need a bulletproof clip-board :-P

  • @riff42 I work from home fortunately ;)

  • @songstolivesite Hate to see how much your S.O. hates you then. Or cats. Cats with guns is never good.

  • Self Rescuing Princess t-shirt ftw :D

  • why would anyone need bulletproof if they were'nt in the army?

  • @xXTrulytXx Because there are unstable civilians, crooked cops, and accidents in the Real World.

Anywho, it wouldn't hold up well against the long arms more commonly associated with the armed forces.

  • At first I wondered why Prius girl didn't just pick up the gun and shoot him while he was down, but then I realized she didn't want to pollute the ground with bullets.

  • WHY?!?!

  • why would i need one of theys?

  • Dr. McNinja has a version of this, doesn’t he?

(“There’s a Raptor in my Office”, page 22)

  • It's always handy to have a bulletproof clipboard!

  • Comment removed

  • @LokiEarth I think your missing the point. It's a clipboard that stops bullets. That is all.

  • Comment removed

  • @LokiEarth so what its meant mostly for humor no one gives a crap that you can say you own body armor online =/ ur not cool because you can make fun of stuff online relax

  • @LokiEarth and just so you know the revolver being fired at it in the beginning isnt shooting 9mm rounds

  • @GameVideos66 no shit. it looks to be a 38. thogh it could be a .357. it said 9mm in the discriptoin, dont talk to me about gun.

  • So how hard does that clipboard hit you in the face on bullet impact?

  • @GreenHornet18

With significantly less force than the bullet and to notably less effect, I imagine.

  • sweet get this clipboard, the tactical pin and the camera watch and on my way to being inspector gadget!

  • Why on Earth would anybody need a bulletproof clipboard?! It's so stupid.

    Totally. Buying. It.

  • Also nice Walther P38, is it an original from WWII or a reproduction from after?

  • That has to be the coolest damn clip board, I should get like 10 just in case a disgruntled co-worker decides to go Postal and I can slip those on under my shirt and make a hasty retreat.

  • Looking awesome, Bette!

  • i really wanna hear a story of this thing saving someone's life

  • You're shooting a .38 Special revolver which is anywhere from about 35% to 85% as powerful as 9x19mm Parabellum (depending on the load of either), and definitely much less capable versus armor. Test with 9mm, plox?

  • @Gunman84 How can you tell it's a .38 and not a .357? I was looking to see what it was but I couldn't find any hints.

  • @Brommykins .357 would be much louder, and have a much heavier muzzle flash.

  • @Gunman84 Well, if they actually fired that Walther P1 at it, that's a 9mm, though it's not a +P or any of the hotter loads you see today. I'd love to test it against my .40s.

  • @CrimsonRuari Right, but I was under the impression that was merely a prop for the video.

  • @Gunman84

Actually, we did test with a 9mm. Couldn't get through the clipboard. But alas, we tested it on one that wasn't as pretty, so we went with what would look nicest on film.

  • @chrismindel Good enough for me.

  • Blind date guy seems to using a P-38, a WWII German pistol, so you know he's extra evil.

  • i said not chuck norris proof

  • actually, this product would probably be very useful for reporters going into dangerous areas.

  • @GeneralWiggin There are four Prius drivers at ThinkGeek HQ. We're generally pretty mellow guys. Except for Kirby. That guys a jerk.

  • guys .. get better screenplay lol ..but niceclipboard i want one

  • I WILL MAKE ARMOR OF THIS AND IT SHALL BE CALLED...

i don't know you figure it out,

  • Hey, some crazy gunman. Good thing I have my trusty clipboard!

  • can it stop .22 rounds?

  • @cementium Tolstoy's "War and Peace" could probably stop .22 rounds. They're far less powerful than the stuff featured in the clip.

  • But can it blend?

  • this is bullet proof but not chuck norris proof :D

  • @MrChopStack NOTHING is Chuck Norris proof. Nothing.

  • в голову надо стрелять, тупица...

  • guys have a hard time expressing their feelings

  • can it stop 7.62 rounds?

  • @manyakols9 7.62 what? 25, 38, 39, 54? Be specific!

  • @Brommykins i think he was referring to the 7.62mm caliber rounds

  • @Wacoede

Brommy was asking for the length of the cartridge, not just the bullet diameter. 7.62 range from pistol rounds to big 7.62x54.

  • @Beliserius1 Thank you for not being stupid.

  • @Wacoede Yes, and there's more than one type of 7.62. The 7.62x25, 7.62x38, 7.62x39, and 7.62x54r. They are all different rounds, and have different powers. Some are handgun calibers and some are sniper cartridges. 7.62mm does not stand alone as a caliber.

  • @Brommykins And let us not forget about the 7.62x51 NATO, and really, anything ever made in the .30 caliber range, which is the same size.

Odds are good that @manyakols9 was asking about the 7.62x39, the round for the ever-popular AK-47 and its clones.

Anybody else think that the metric system is awkward here, and ought to be replaced by something easier to say? seven-point-six-two-by-fifty-one-NATO is a mouthful compared to the classic 'three-oh-eight," which is the same size and shape.

  • @SonofPencilHead Agreed. I hate it when people ask about my Mosin Nagant. Seven six two by fifty four rimmed is too damn long, and there's no possible way to say it any shorter.

  • headshots

  • Before i got The bulletproof clippy from X. My kids always blamed me for "accidentally" shooting thier homework! But now. With clippy. I can finally see my kids study! No more forgetting homework or blaming dad that he shot it! Thank you clippy.

Clippy. For a brighter future. Today!

  • So, Heavy Weapons Guy is made of these clipboards? I am confused...

  • I'd call it bullet RESISTANT. Hope I don't offend you guys, @thinkgeek but, let's be real xD

  • haha this is a pretty good comercial

  • watch "drunk blonde dude"...one of the funniest things ever!!

  • Imma buy one, so i can attempt to have a friend aim at a certain spot, and swing the board in a precise timing that i can deflect it back or something :D

  • @OhSnapitsJuzDin and then your gonna die.

  • The only reason she lived is because she is a self rescuing princess

  • The clipboard every paranoid buisness man should own.

  • Just got it, now im going to Brooklynn.

  • @sujiro

    way to spell "Retarded"

  • @suijin84 I didn't write "retarded", I wrote "retardest". It was a made-up word for people with the minimum amount of intelligence required to understand the idea. There's no need to be a grammar nazi/smart ass on YouTube. Also, English is my 3rd language.

  • @sujiro You're welcome!

  • @sujiro what is "Retardest" it isnt in the dictionary.

  • @rosieforst see my reply to @suijin84

  • @sujiro lets see who survives when a guy shows up at work with a pistol!

Hint: you dont have the bulletproof clipboard
