thats why you have to be carefull. at times its a ton of fun while other times it can really be a pain in the ass. most people dont even bother waiting for you to go rogue, they get afew friends and act like they're just playing around and then gank you when you're low on hp and stam and fighting monsters (mostly goblins)
this was kickass!!! I haven't been this excited since my UO and EQ days, both different games, but both were great games! Darkfall reminds me of UO but in 3d. U even loot the same, the bags come up the same way, you go up in skill the same way, etc. GOD I CANT WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEK!

The scenery looks great, I really love that. But I don't like how the chars look while they are holding their weaps and running. It looks sort of "clunky" to me. The combat looks ok I guess...I'm a girl and the way the chars look while moving is really important to me =)
Tbh, I think the characters + character animations look kind of shitty. It's all very unnatural and the body's look extremely weird; even if intentional, I think it failed. However, gameplay looks pretty good and the scenery isn't bad. I hope the gameplay makes up for it.

No siege weapons. No player housing. No boat fights. No monsters to kill (because their AI is shitty the server can't handle it). Poor melee. Poor magic system (no 300+ spells).

Been following this game for long enough that it has prevented me from playing (besides at friends places) any other MMO since WoW (quit before expansion cuz I knew equipment and economy would change and I didn't wanna waste 4 more months getting useless epics.) Played Warhammer (wow clone!) played AoC, it's crap. This game in it's completely unfinished state looks better than the games that I have played. That was just beautiful. Reminded me of oldschool UO. The looting was a flash back. Especially all the newbs sitting around waiting to loot like vultures. Seeing Friendly Fire in action, and newbs going grey from it was fucking awesome. Especially when other blues started chasing the greys around, lol.
How did the loot system just work? The game decides what each player gets? Everyone grabs at whatever they can? How important is loot in the game anyway? Thanks!
Everyone grabs what they want, and when you die, you drop everything you are carrying, except your starter weapon. All armour and weapons are craftable, so if you lose yours, you should be able to craft yourself some more, so loot isnt *that* important :)

No siege weapons. No player housing. No boat fights. No monsters to kill (because their AI is shitty the server can't handle it). Poor melee. Poor magic system (no 300+ spells).

Also not to mention that ALL MMOS are "click click click" it just so happens that you click keys on the keyboard instead and you don't even have to aim! So stop being a silly bitch and just cancel your beta key. Oh yea and the game is in beta(had to say it). Not ready for release.

Been following this game for long enough that it has prevented me from playing (besides at friends places) any other MMO since WoW (quit before expansion cuz I knew equipment and economy would change and I didn't wanna waste 4 more months getting useless epics.) Played Warhammer (wow clone!) played AoC, it's crap. This game in it's completely unfinished state looks better than the games that I have played. Might not be UO, but it's something different, closest to, and great! full loot! ftw

Haha yeah and here comes the UO elitist! And yeah i played UO aswell but ended up playing l2 on the official servers for 4 years. And no i didnt play "games like wow". We will just have to wait and see how the game turns out but it still looks shitty as hell.

this is the the most laughable shit i've seen since Dark and Light. Seriously this looks like it was built by a few stupid College kids in their game dev club using media they bought off of TurboSquid & Torque engine.
The gameplay looks like a total joke. It looks like some kind of bad amateur Mod of an 8 year old game.. I played MMO's since AC1 on DarkTide and this looks like total TRASH. This game is DOOMED.. NOBODY except maybe a few hundred people will pay $ for something like this

That was just beautiful. Reminded me of oldschool UO. The looting was a flash back. Especially all the newbs sitting around waiting to loot like vultures. Seeing Friendly Fire in action, and newbs going grey from it was fucking awesome. Especially when other blues started chasing the greys around, lol.

Everyone grabs what they want, and when you die, you drop everything you are carrying, except your starter weapon. All armour and weapons are craftable, so if you lose yours, you should be able to craft yourself some more, so loot isnt *that* important :)
