@themeeting1 I think your comments are maybe 30 years too late. Dylan has never ever been a great vocalist but in the very early days he could actually hold a tune. Now he really can't and I'm not sure whether you really feel he can sing or you're just such a mega fan you can't bring yourself to admit that fact. YES, he's an incredible songwriter but he genuinely can't sing a note now. At least people can now listen to him murdering this (his!) song on youtube. Search, people, it's here.

Rarely does anybody do Dylan better than Dylan! Wow. Although to be fair this has to be one of Dylan's worse vocal performances on record, bless him. Still an incredible song. (And if any muso trips me up, I'm only 80-90% sure this was DYlan originally, so don't hate on me if I'm wrong)

@themeeting1 This version is an emotional performance, the like we rarely get to see from a remake. To recommend people listen to Dylan to imply that Adele has no musical tralent in comparison is naive to say the least. Yes we shall agree Bob Dylan is probably the best songwriter the world has ever known but it doesn't mean that Adele is without talent. The girl has a powerful voice that is unrivalled at the moment and she is writing her own music which is the important thing.

The man just injected some much needed blues and soul into the song! If you're referring to the out of key notes as 'messing up' then you've probably been listening to too much Britney Spears. It's called improvising and it uses alternative notes to the key of the song be it minor or major. Now go study some jazz and then come back with an opinion.
