You say that Excl will win based on popularity. Isn't that the point of a contest? Whatever is the most popular will obviously win, even if the contest was judged solely on Jagex's views.

The point he's trying to make is that Jagex should have known better then to have people pick the actual winner of the contest....

Also, wouldn't it be more fair that Jagex picked a person who has talent and has already tried to become discovered but just can't do it...

MAAAYBE..What would have been fair would be Jagex choosing a top 20 or even top 30 and then the players choosing a top 6..But that's just an idea. His video was Good and there is no denying that.

Also BoomerTwins and DrummerGuy and other popular makers (Sosolid2k) enterted the contest and didn't make top six. They have thousands of subscribers. Jagex had a certain taste that they liked and it's clear in the top 6. Funny and within 2 minutes. . Excl's going to Cambridge lol..Suck it up.

I think you're being a fucking jerk. I'm sorry. Have you ever seen Excl's video about the bronze dagger and Billy Mays? That was entirely Excl's idea and was quickly one of his most viewed. I think a lot of people like the fact that he was using the epic dagger at the end. You know Jagex is trying to be fair by letting players pick a winner instead of just them. Also by discriminating against "popular" video makers-how would that be fair either? The other vids (Except bumbum) plain sucked.

I went for the mithril sword fight personally, which had a funny payoff at the end.

I'm positive that I've seen the linedancing video before, totally 100%. No proof mind you, but believe what you will...

The tv machinima was also a ripoff of so many other ideas, like paranoia and forsandg's series...

I dunno, it's a little unfair in my opinion but I have no idea how they could've made it fairer without just not counting the players votes.

What is "good" is a matter of opinion. You can't describe good. In my opinion, Excl's video WAS the best. That's just my opinion. I've known him since he had slightly under 2k subs, and there is not one thing he's gained that he didn't work hard for. Yes, he was promoted, but he had to work his ass off to get noticed in the first place. I can attest to that.

I would have liked to have seen a closer race but tbh even if people did NOT vote for their fav YTer IMO Excl would still win. He's good.
