  • Chrome is the best.

  • Logan at 5:47 LOL!

  • this was made on my birthday :D

  • Its (Change UAC setings) for window7.

  • I used to have that laptop about 6 years ago lol.

  • can people build laptops?

  • I'm using an identical laptop right now running windows 7!

    GREAT LAPTOP!

  • This is how you do it.

    1. Format

    2. Install your operating system (not a backup disc or whatever)

    whoala

  • I teach you how to remove junk:

    1 download ccleaner

    2 install it

    3 run it

    4 delete all junk

  • Microsoft Security Essentials has worked wonders for me, It has real time monitoring, uses no resources, and doesn't ask me to do shit with pop ups and things. - I.T. at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

  • It's called buying a mac.

  • @louie455 LOL good one.

  • can you just manually remove bloatware? am i missing something here, i am after all a noob to computers.

  • @jesusmetal92107 Yes you can, but you have to know what you are looking for. I wonder if this product cleans up the registry? Again you can use CrapCleaner to clean up your registry. There are some programs that force you to download a program that allows you to uninstall them, won't mention any (Norton Antivirus) but I avoid all that crap and build my own desktop PC!

  • crapware hahahah, shitware fuckware bitchware

  • decrapifier? is this a april fools joke ? lol

  • SuperAntiSpyware is 10milliontimes more true security with 10billion times less cpu/memory usage than avg, the only problem with its free version is that it doesn't actively scan your system for viruses, although it has another good thing about it, they scan for everything harmful to you even on the basic version like deleting your web crap from pop-ups. Hope my words helped someones pc run faster and if they listened also be safer and more flexible with alternative downloading of things.

  • fromat HD, reinstall windows.....problem solved

  • So...you install more unnecessary software to get rid of your unnecessary software? Makes sense. I just thought you should know what you're doing and manually uninstall the stuff you KNOW you won't need, instead of letting a program tell you. Also... after installing a bunch of crap, it's probably a good idea to defrag! : )

  • 26.000 :D

  • Having 'bloat ware' on your computer is like having a multiple number of bums beg to you about giving them some money.

  • @MikeStone05 LOL, awesome analogy.

  • thank you

  • Buy a virus

  • LINUX FTW NO BLOATWARE & FREE!!windows? SHIT VIRUSES BLOATWARE ESXPPESIVE AS FUCK SHITTY AND USER ANNOYANCE CONTROL FUCK WINDOWS AND MICROSOFT! LINUX=YAY!

  • @FALLOUT3bitch

Depends on the distro... Ubuntu ships with a lot of bloatware in my opinion... but other people like the default setup.

  • crapware lol pc decrapifier LOL XD

  • crapware lol

  • I use Avast.

  • Thank you

  • Sucks I already did this manually for my old PC and my new PC

  • Thumbs up for FIREFOX

  • @xTR0JAXx

    Google Chrome ftw

  • @TMNoob3 Fuck that

  • @xTR0JAXx

Pff, Google Chrome uses less resources and has more features with a sleek finish.

  • @TMNoob3 and what do you get out of defending a web browser like that? I agree it's great, but it's not worth arguing about.. unless you're wages are affected by it or something. Anyway, if you and everyone else keep promoting google so much eventually IE, firefox etc. gona disapear or be obsolete and google gona charge you to use their browser. I wonder if they completely remove the ability to use it on win when they release their OS.

  • I can see him saying:

"... nobody makes me bleed my own blood!"

  • UAC is vital security keeps more viruses and other negative things from changing ur PC this guy is kinda stupid

  • @bizzy400 Not really. UAC, while a good intent of MS, is about useless to anyone who knows how to use a PC and practices safe download practices. It was made for people who just randomly browse and think the internet is an innocent place. The majority of computer users. The average teen.

  • @bizzy400 if you stay away from dog porn, dont open e-mails form unknown users, dont pirate software and other things UAC is annoying... the funny thing is Win7 is actually smart for once and lets you choose the level its at...on vista its either on OR off...

  • lol new term - bloatware

  • The "PC Decrapifier" kists Microsoft Office as an application it removes.

I think I'll keep my primary apps installed, but thanks.

  • the vid is great and i like this guy but AVG has A LOT of FALSE POSITIVES and then i have to put a file in the vault and THEN is breaks down my system, so unless they changed don't get it.

  • Great video been in the business for 3 years with my dad and we both use the same anti virus like the pc decrapifier program another i reccomend is win patrol plus I think you should do a video on it if you know how to use it

  • LOL...he's so funny...Luv him!

  • I am also liking Comodo. It's anti-virus and firewall combined.

  • another very good free anti-virus is Avira Free edition

  • Avira ? LOL

  • i disabled uac by clicking on my picture thing there is also the option the disable it :D

  • Logan is awesome.

  • hmm wonder how u download this, hahaha BRING BACK LOGAN, WHOS WITH ME?!

  • FUCK YES

  • if u want a good anti-virus u gotta pay for it ..... for total proection ... and that comes with a price !... ...u decide !!

  • I don't torrent or look up kinky things. i'm willing to not pay for super dooper protection. Avg ftw.

  • It's silly to stay away from torrents just because you are wanting to protect your pc. Anyone with a brain can torrent safely, you just have to make sure you know what kind of files you are downloading, and avoid executables.

  • My impression is that Torrents are pirated crap.

  • decrapifier :D

  • Reformat. Simple

  • Not if don't use the recovery disc.

  • HP's have their own recovery process that you would have to go through a lot of trouble to delete, there is no more recovery disc, and since HP are the big guys behind bloatware, I'm guessing that's who were talking about :/

I miss the good old days with recovery discs :)

  • My PC came with the recovery disc. And it isn't a HP. It's a medion. Almost every pc cames with a recovery disc ... at least in my country. I don't know about the US.

  • @AMVDawg

Mines didn't come with a recovery disk, but it didn't need to bring 1 cuz it has a system where u make ur own.

So thats what I did. I think most computers now want u to make your own recovery disk.

  • GREAT INFORMATION

AVG Free is the best, I never pay for anti-virus programs anymore.

Download Tuneup Ultilities 2009 from CNET and this will remove lots of stuff you do not need + has lots more.

  • AVG 8 free edition~perfect

  • Norton 2009 is lightweight load..

  • Are you sure you want to write this comment?

    YES!!!!!!!

    Funny video rly ;)

  • Esy way to turn off uac is simply goto controll panel under your users theres a box in the tab under your name done.. its off..

  • Oh God! I've still got that laptop. LOL! It's so shit! :9

  • LOL is this a joke

  • PC decrapifier LOL!

  • There is a much easier way to disable UAC. Click start>Click on your little personalized icon> i think you have to click home then uncheck the UAC box, then restart.

  • A note about the newest AVG Anti-Virus:

It has now become a trial version for 1 month, after which you have to buy if you want to keep the protection.

  • If you get the free edition it is free for as long as you keep it on your computer.

  • it's free antwhere since it was well free...

  • Hmm...wonder how you download this. lol

  • First, thing I would when id reinstall windows is download Mozilla Firefox then do over to the avast website and download the trial version.

  • The people at the OEM companies need to remember... It's the CONSUMER that will use the computer, so the CONSUMER should get the basic configuration with fresh "Microsoft" version of Windows installed without all the OEM brand's watermarks, and have the hardware drivers installed. Then... the CONSUMER actually can configure the system to the way that THEY want it.

Seriously, if the CONSUMER wants the software, then they can install it him/herself! You don't need to install it for them!

  • How I fixed this issue with my Acer Aspire one shortly after pulling it out of the box...

    1. get my XP CD

    2. hook up the external CD drive

    3. Format! :)

    4. Reinstall :D

    5. Install the drivers (after downloading them to a different PC)

    6. Load MY PREFERRED software

    Done.

  • Good thing I had my McAfee on; this shit gave me a fucking trojan! No lie, don't install this PC decrapifier shit.

  • Yeah, I just tried it out and McAfee instantly found trojan.

  • lol wow no trojan....

  • noob

  • lol ur an ass, mcafee says its shit cause it dosent want to get uninstalled. u fail noob >=]

  • Why on earth would I want my McAfee uninstalling though?

  • cause its total shit, it lies and is a rip off

  • because for instance, when i got a laptop a year ago i threw it in the bin....... but before tht i tryed gettin on the internet, but ohh no McAfee was installed and it wouldnt let me get on the net cos it blocked my router cos McAfee thought it was a damn virus!!!!! Router = Virus!!!! thts McAfee 4 u

  • Well with a new computer the McAfee is just a trial version and that's what it removes. It may or may not remove the full version as well if you have that but you can simply reinstall it.

  • It would be funny if when you hit the install button a window pops up that says we'll miss you with a frowning face. I would pay to see that.

  • sɹɐʇs 5 = nɹnƃ ǝɯosǝʍɐ

  • logan is the best!

  • logans cool, you're the douche, and yes most of the stuff you get on a new computer is crap, you obviously dont know shit about computers, dont hate on tiger direct loser

  • Wish I new this, I uninstalled all that crap manually.

  • your mom is yankie

  • you're an idiot.

  • I might buy a rock, it might come in handy if a zombie outbreak happens.

  • Blow-ware

  • hes put on some weight

  • Yeah he put on some bloat.

  • lets get rid of the crapware lol

  • lol buy a virus

  • hahaha i have the exact same laptop, which sucks ass lol

  • Kapersky FTW?

  • hellz yeaaa

  • well heh turn off the UAC then when you restart the computer, there will be a notification that tells you its off and it will keep doing this. clikc on it and go inot the security center. in the lower left corner there's a "set how vista reminds me" and set it to hide icon and dont ask. then go onto google and just find a code to turn off DEP from the command prompt (you need to run as admin) becuase it sometimes blocks some of your installations for no reason.

  • allow/deny? i'm gonna remove you with this programme muhaha

    lol

  • Yea I just ran that software and it's a piece of shit, slowed my computer and made no difference with cleaning up my clutter

  • i clciked disable user account conrtol and that shit still pops up

  • Restart you pc after :P

  • Dur

  • worked for me u mustve not ran it as administrator

  • Logan pwns bum.

  • if you have another computer you can download vlite and get ride of crapware/bloware

  • zone alarm security suite is best, trust me but dont get the regular zone alarm that shit sucks they like money. piratebay is your friend

  • What abut Online Armor is that good?

  • AVG IS THE BEST!

  • USE ZONE ALARM INTERNET SECURITY SUITE oh and don't those programs come with a price when you buy them with the computer?

  • no, he rocks

  • yes, he does rock. uploadingit is an idiot.

  • good job login

  • it's logan.

  • I hope he uses Mozilla!

  • i hate ie

  • @arnolddisco ie 9 is promising. Just wait and give MS 1 more chance. If this fail again.. no IE ever again.

  • @gigalin So far, it's still slower or JUST the speed of Firefox.

  • i had avg for awhile. then i got charter highspeed security suite

  • Yeah, get rid of this silly background music.

Its annoying, I can't pay attention to Logan!

    THE PC DECRAPIFIER

the most original name ever ever

  • LOGAN IS THE BEST!!!!!!

  • i like the msconfig UAC disable that always annoys me. thanks logan you rock.

  • pc decarapifier lol

  • I dont like the backghround music!

    just an FYI

  • NOD32 is the elite no better antivirus than it!

  • AVG Free is awesome, switched after i got about 4000 trojans whilst using Norton, haven't had 1 trojan since.

very decent for free virus protection.

  • if u had 4000 trojans it was probally just one copyed 4000 times all over your hard drive

  • What I would STRONGLY recommend everyone do when they get a new laptop lets say, if they can of course, a nice clean fresh install, so gather all the drivers for ur laptop first, then format it with a fresh copy of windows

  • Why are there always beep on the camera.

  • very helpful

  • Yes! im twenty third!!!

  • is adware 2007 a good program?

  • One of the best ones if Spyware Doctor

  • lavasoft ad-aware sucks....

it has one of the skimpier scanners (60% effective)

howsitgoinppl has the best idea ...just wipe your drive

and reinstall windows vista/ or ubuntu linux

  • i use avg spybot s&d and spywareblaster

  • i use avg free and i get other to aswell. its plenty for the home user.

  • I always just copy the drivers from the OEM OS then I reinstall with a clean copy of Vista then restore the drivers.

    Works great.

  • Logan you gets rep points for showing people how to use AVG free! YAY! =)

  • that's why you build your own with a fresh OS. or yeah, you can easily remove all that crap.

    good vid logan!

  • 'Course if you really want antivirus go for nod32 or bitdefender best in business.

  • All hail LOGAN!

  • I use avg

  • i rly likez it <3'z
