Bullshit review!! I dont even think that they really tested the cars. They just said what they "think" about the cars. And very baised. Almost all the non European car reviews say that the Lexus is as good as the M3. Even people who own both cars(they have videos on YT).
I would really like to see an honest review of these cars in various driving conditions. These track time based tests are not of real significance and a second either way does not matter None of these are track cars come to think of it. More difficult would be to see a review where the Lexus is treated objectively. Great cars all three though

The Merc is good, has a great engine noise but it has a 6.2 LITRE ENGINE. AND PORDUCES 450BHP. But even with this poweroutput, it doesnt drive faster than the BMW. The BMW M3 has -2.2LITRES AND PRODUCES 420BHP, YET IT WINS! M Power FTW!!!!! And lexus, i am part japanese and i live in tokyo where the lexus is significantly cheaper than those other cars but I would simply take the BMW since its got one of the best sounding v8 engines, great handling, looks and since i got addicted to one

The only problem in merc is the stability control because the germans puts a lot of power in the mercedes and the system is reprogramed to gave more security.
I think the best motor to the C class is the new motor from AMG is being launch maybe in this year the 55AMG
@damotaribeiro The majority of times, I prefer BMWs than Mercedes because if you get a BMW, you get more for your money, also you get better fuel consumptions(not in all cases). Also to me, it isn't all about badge image, if people do think that, they clearly don't have a clue about cars. In Japan where I live, cocks drive white Mercedes and show off to say to the public how rich they are. Probably thats why I was sooo against Mercedes, if I leave this country, I should change my mind about that
@damotaribeiro Sorry, getting off track, I started to be a sort of Mercedes (AMG) fan. Especially because of the SLS. Its not cheap but its a total bargain compared to the Mclaren SLR. Personally I think it looks better and has a fantastic engine noise. The handling seems to be superb and the acceleration is gr8, last but not least, those doors make it look like a superhero's car. I like the SL63 (NOT SL65) and also the CL63 - both look good. I like the CLKs as well. I HATE the new E. Its UGLY!

The 335i costs more than IS350 because it uses less fuel than the lexus, its got more of a sports car feel(even without the msport) because lexus is more of a cruiser. Also Lexus uses cheap materials especially when they look like they are using wood, its fake.
i actually own a is F. i have raced an m3, m6 and a c63 amg. i beat all three of them no problem. the is F is a very nice, very fast car. I have test driven the c63 amg, m3 and the s5. dont get me wrong all very nice cars but i prefered the lexus because of the ride quality. i find it funny that some people knock cars that they dont own or never will own....geez grow up these cars are pretty much the same

honda f20c engine is one of the most reiable engines of the world and gets more hp/liter than the m3... getting high hp/liter figures from a NA engine doent mean it will broke after 100k miles
your right if ppl are looking to race they will get the ISF because most people race on straight roads anyways most. Both cars are pretty close but the ISF is a 4L V8 which is bigger than the m3. I have to say I really like the design of the ISF but lets take a look at whatsinside the cabin. I feel BMW's technology is very high like does isf have the feature that the seatbelt gets handed to you and the awsome cuphlder that come out.But dashboards the ISF KILLS , the bmw looksplain

I own an M3 the E46 model , Ive driven the Merc and it is fast but poor handling . The M3 Ive driven on the Nurburgring and my time was 8min12sec the road holding is phenomonal . The build quality is better in a BMW as is reliability .

BMW's just keeping some of that old/traditional german charm and style of interior which is not for your information plastic. i actually prefer it more then the c63/e63 which contains more artificial parts. however the merc has a more modern look on the interior which is really just up to personal opinion on which you may prefer. (my best friend who is 16 owns an e63 while my dad owns a m5 which i favor over the merc)
i disagree...an m3 for example would be exhilarating on a track and on corners and what not where as a merc will be fun more on public roads (straight lines and acceleration)

Ive had a few 911 owners who have driven it and are amazed at its all round capabilities one even sold his 911 and purchased an M3 . @MrFixitcomputer Thats cheap , very cheap therefore reliability would be an issue . The M3 is by far the more reliable car in terms of long distance high speed and also superior road handling . The roads where I live have fast bends and it is quicker than a lot of 911s when taking and exiting the corner due to its controlled power supply .

Both the IS-F and the C63 AMG are garbage in my opinion. 6.3L V8 and a 5.0L V8 to compete against the M3's 4.0 L V8. Seems like overkill in my opinon.

IS-F is a true wanna be Euro super sedan. For example, only 2 of the 4 tail pipes are for the exhaust. Also, who builds a sports car with 8 gears. The Bugatti Veyron has less and it acheives 250 mph. *NOTE Bugatti is from Europe. The only true fast sports car out of Jap Crap is the GT-R, now that is a true sports car...IS-F is the best looking Lexus, but thats it

i actually own a is F. i have raced an m3, m6 and a c63 amg. i beat all three of them no problem. the is F is a very nice, very fast car. I have test driven the c63 amg, m3 and the s5. dont get me wrong all very nice cars but i prefered the lexus because of the ride quality. i find it funny that some people knock cars that they dont own or never will own....geez grow up these cars are pretty much the same

Do you own an M3 or driven one around a European circuit , oh yes I do race a BMW 320 GTr thus they are overall far better . The Lexus lacks the wow factor drove one very boring .

honda f20c engine is one of the most reiable engines of the world and gets more hp/liter than the m3... getting high hp/liter figures from a NA engine doent mean it will broke after 100k miles

your right if ppl are looking to race they will get the ISF because most people race on straight roads anyways most. Both cars are pretty close but the ISF is a 4L V8 which is bigger than the m3. I have to say I really like the design of the ISF but lets take a look at whatsinside the cabin. I feel BMW's technology is very high like does isf have the feature that the seatbelt gets handed to you and the awsome cuphlder that come out.But dashboards the ISF KILLS , the bmw looksplain

dont get me wrong i would take the c63 any day but a drag race is not all that matters. the bmw would own the merc around the track, but i would take the c63 because it is fun and dangerous. you never know if you will make it around the track in one piece XD thumbs up though

I own an M3 the E46 model , Ive driven the Merc and it is fast but poor handling . The M3 Ive driven on the Nurburgring and my time was 8min12sec the road holding is phenomonal . The build quality is better in a BMW as is reliability .

@smckee113 Dont think so , hence I went and bought a BMW M3 , better engine fexibility at 7000rpm and far better cornering at higher speeds without the tail end wanting to throw you out . Straight line driving is not driving however on the Ring well thats fearsome.....and the M3 owns it over the merc .

I guess the m3 hugs the corners a little better, but its a booring car. The c63 looks better on the outside and inside!! ill give up a little handling for a better looking car.

BMW's just keeping some of that old/traditional german charm and style of interior which is not for your information plastic. i actually prefer it more then the c63/e63 which contains more artificial parts. however the merc has a more modern look on the interior which is really just up to personal opinion on which you may prefer. (my best friend who is 16 owns an e63 while my dad owns a m5 which i favor over the merc)

i disagree...an m3 for example would be exhilarating on a track and on corners and what not where as a merc will be fun more on public roads (straight lines and acceleration)

@tanatospr2 Own one and drive it then you won't be saying that . I've driven some cars and having owned an M3 E46 for over an year I can tell you its accelaration and handling are phenomenal . Ive had a few 911 owners who have driven it and are amazed at its all round capabilities one even sold his 911 and purchased an M3 . Once you've owned one and driven it hard on some of Europes roads then boring doesn't come into your vocabulary .

I agree its there is on the outside something sexy about the merc and dont get me wrong 1st class cars and lets not dismiss the Audis I drove an RS4 recently plenty of grunt but the 4 wheel drive seemed to hold it back . Im about to have my M3 tuned increase it to 550bhp , I must be mad but hey you only live once . I dont have an ass anymore its somewhere in Germany !!!

@MrFixitcomputer Thats cheap , very cheap therefore reliability would be an issue . The M3 is by far the more reliable car in terms of long distance high speed and also superior road handling . The roads where I live have fast bends and it is quicker than a lot of 911s when taking and exiting the corner due to its controlled power supply .

Both the IS-F and the C63 AMG are garbage in my opinion. 6.3L V8 and a 5.0L V8 to compete against the M3's 4.0 L V8. Seems like overkill in my opinon.

Would the track not matter? On a tight track the M3 has an adavantage but on faster more flowing tracks, the Benz would have the edge.

IS-F is a true wanna be Euro super sedan. For example, only 2 of the 4 tail pipes are for the exhaust. Also, who builds a sports car with 8 gears. The Bugatti Veyron has less and it acheives 250 mph. *NOTE Bugatti is from Europe. The only true fast sports car out of Jap Crap is the GT-R, now that is a true sports car...IS-F is the best looking Lexus, but thats it
